Beautiful set up on the beach, and the woman who invites you in is âbloody goodâ.... but thatâs about it for this one. They donât serve Bintang and instead have the other Indonesian beer- which tastes like a crap version of an IPA... beer is usually warm... not my fav place... it seems to be hit or miss on the food but since they donât sell Bintang and the other beer is crap, I would suggest elsewhere.

We found that place because a local recommended us to eat there. And we absolutely loved it !! Once you arrive youâre discovering a small piece of paradise on the beach, with cute decorations, tables and a warm welcome from all the staff. Then after youâre starting to eat their food and the small piece of paradise finds its place now in your mouth because it was really delicious.... The cocktails were great too. We liked it so much that we came back few times during our stay in Gili. They have an amazing menu with a large choice of vegetarian and vegan meals. You can definitely go there with closed eyes, support them, and enjoy it !!!Thank you! So sweet! Means a lot!

Stopped for a rest during a bike ride around the island and found this place to be quite delightful. Gorgeous location with a great spread across the beach. The restaurant is under shade with a sandy floor and the staff are friendly. Ordered a few juices which were fresh and delicious and then we ordered samosas and they were great! Nice atmosphere, hotel looked worth staying in as well.

We had booked a table here for a birthday meal on the beach, service was excellent as was the food. We had garlic prawns, calamari (which was amazing!!) and bruschetta to start followed by yellow curry and steak. Despite hesitations the steak was cooked beautifully! Followed by a special birthday chocolate molten lava cake which was gooey in all the right places! A shame there was a lack of atmosphere or people dining but the food is superb you have to try it!! Itâs the perfect dinner location on Gili T island. I really enjoyed my meal. The bartender was really friendly and the food delicious. We had a great dinner with my wife at the Santi Lounge. Great atmosphere after sunset next to the beach strip. Service was excellent. The food was excellent. The place was beautiful. Everything was perfect. My wife had a pasta which was delicious and I had Sumatran style slow cooked beef which was the best Indonesian dish I've had so far on our trip. We honestly were not sure about the restaurant based on our first sight of the restaurant. But it changed after we ordered the food. The seller was very friendly and helpful. He suggested us the food that "suitable" for us based on our food preferences. The price was still considered as cheap compared to another restaurants around. The taste of the food was actually good.Thanks for your comments. And we are happy to see that you anderstand the concept of this Simple Warung....The idea is to serve fresh, tasty indonesian food at a fare price in a very clean place with an eco freindly attitude...Be simple and the world will be better !

This was our favourite restaurant on Gili T. We liked it so much we had dinner there twice.Food is a cross section of asian dishes - thai, vietnamese, indian and indonesian.Authentic flavours with bite - we particuarly liked the snapper curry dish.Nice atmosphere, efficient staff and good prices away from the hustle of the main drag.Highly recommended.

I loved everything about the restaurant. The location, ambience, the vibe. But the stand out is the FOOD! I'm not vegetarian/vegan so I was a bit hesitant to try at first. The Jackfruit Curry is delicious. The Mango Salad is amazing. All fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff are all welcoming and attentive. Looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended.
