The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah restaurant offers unobstructed panoramic views of Tanah Gajahâs rice fields and the tropical jungle beyond from every table. A backdrop that is almost enough to distract from the gastronomic pleasures ahead. The rice that accomp
Visited this most fabulous hotel to eat at their restaurant which had been highly recommended. Firstly the setting is amazing set in a cluster of rice fields this is a beautiful tranquil location on the edge of Ubud. The service was first class and the food superb. There is a choice between local Balinese or international cuisine. All served with great aplomb. Highly recommend and my next time I come to Ubud must try the hotel. At first we were a little apprehensive as the entrance to the restaurant winds you through a building site thatâs not attractive. ( this of course is only temporary)However, once you pass the building mess you are greeted with a well lighted path through a rice field to the restaurant. You are greeted with a warm Balinese welcome a shown to your semi outdoor seating. Try and book the table overlooking the fields. The menu Has variety of excellent choices. You can pick the chefs affair or select from an array of tasty tapas ( large) dishes. The food is presented with perfection and taste. This is a must try.

The Shed Bali is Sheddy Carpenter's dream to revive Balinese cultural life, with a bamboo hut style shelter, a place to quench your thirst and hunger on the edge of the Ubud-style rice fields in decade 80's, which is colored by green nature, elegant bambo
We only had breakfast, so I can't comment on the whole menu, but what we had, we really enjoyed, both food and drinks. The cocktails are very reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Clean bathrooms. Wish they opened a bit earlier than 11am, which is my only reservation in not giving it 5 stars. Dear MootHouse,Thank you for your feedback, we're absolutely thrilled that you had positive experience with us. we strive to ensure that our guests get the absolute highest standard of product and service possible in the restaurant industry and we're thrilled to hear that our food taste and quality was able to provide this to you.I will pass along your message to all of the team for sure.Looking forward to welcome you back to The Shed BaliKind regardsThe Shed BaliSheddy Carpenter

This was such a nice little restaurant. We got picked up (free shuttle) from our hotel, the Wyndham. The staff was super friendly, food was very good! Must try the Sop Ayam! And all for a very good price. The owner also came to talk to his guests, very friendly :)Dear Guest Thank you so much for coming to our restaurant and leave a excellent review on tripadvisor We so happy to hear that you have enjoy the food and the service here at warong legong We wish we can meet again in the future Warm regard KadekOwner
The restaurant is off the main road and is on its own in the middle of the country side. We went on the way back from the Tibumana waterfall which was very close by. The owner is very friendly and takes care to explain everything on the menu. We tried the local dish which was sticky rice in a broth (almost like a soup) with an egg and also a local drink with the green jelly of an indigenous plant combined with coconut milk and sugar syrup which were both delicious. Food was very reasonable. Worth going off the beaten track for! They also had a very cute puppy called Salem who was a great host too.

We tried the chef's 4 Course Set Menu and the Seafood Trio. There was a lot of creativity in the food - lots of local ingredients were matched together to create a dish. It tasted ok. Ambiance wise, was ok. We were seated upstairs and found the place to be a little warm. Service staff was cheerful and friendly.Thank you for coming to Spice and for your review. As you noted, all our ingredients are Indonesian; the 'gastro' part of being a gastro-bar is in their combination and cooking techniques. We're sorry you found it a bit warm above the open kitchen. We will look into that, and we hope you will come again.
