Cosy vegetarian restaurant in the lower block of 29th street.
A very tiny place which serves Indian and Nepali vegetarian food. Quantity is fine and price is cheap.

Combining friendly and efficient service with tasty food at very reasonable prices, this is a great restaurant near the railway station. They are also willing to vary the menu if necessary for individual diet requirements. We had many good dishes over two nights (5 persons and then 2) and the standout dishes were the Veg, Lamb and Dum Chicken Biryanis. Servings were ample and I have never ever had food (in this case, Veg Biryani) which remained as piping hot in its container as when it was served. Please keep up the good work!

I've been to India dozens of times and I must say that marina serves some of the best food I've had outside of the subcontinent. Top quality fish served tandoori style, great prawn curry, and fresh baked naan and chapati. Attentive service. Highly recommended

We headed here after reading the reviews. Arrived at 7.30pm when most choices were gone with chicken left. Chose a butter chicken curry and chicken biriani. The chicken was well cooked but virtually no meat on the bone. Food luke warm and very oily. Nan bread was nice but overall; there are better places to choose in the area.

We are proud to be only Vegetarian restaurant in Yangon, We serve Authentic Indian Pure Veg food, We also offer Sheesha, Lounge & Bar, Coffee Bar, Ice-cream parlour.
We were very excited to try here after reading such good reviews but werent super impressed. Portion sizes are very good, but the curries we had were a little bland. The onion naan bread was incredible though so make sure you try that! Our rating would be a lot higher if they weren't blaring out Techno/ Trance music for the duration of our visit which was at peak dinner time of 7.30pm! The music was very loud and you couldn't easily talk with other guests at your table. The staff are friendly although there seemed to be far too many of them standing around with nothing to do, and as a result they just stand around you while you eat. FYI Vedge restaurant has now changed its name to Edge, presumably as they serve a lot of meat curries and didn't want to appear as a vegetarian restaurant.

Once considered the shinning jewel in the British Empire's crown,India can today be easily deemed as the huge, 60-carat diamond in the world's flavored cuisine ring. The large variety of food has found brilliant cravings on an international scale as Indian
To be honest one of the reasons we ate here was they took credit cards. Glad we visited though- all of the food we tasted was lovely- my wife and friend both had a Biriani, and I had grilled marinated chicken . Some of the best Indian food we'd eaten in a long time. Prices are very reasonable. If you're missing your Saturday night curry come here!
