Coming from Buckingham, I am not spoiled for choice with Indian restaurants but the reviews deserved a look at this place. We went on a Wednesday without knowing about the offer and were pleasantly surprised by a mainly full restaurant. Then the stunning food came - tasty, spicy yet full of flavour - fresh hot and filling. Better still was the attentive service from the staff - all of who were great guys.I liked it so much I came back two days later for a takeaway. This is my new local favourite. See you soon!

Lovely warm welcome. We were advised in a nice way about what type of food we would like. After being advised we enjoyed a delicious Lamb Jaflong and Chicken Lahore Special with delicious rice & naan bread I do recommend this place to anyone who is interested in genuine tasty Indian cuisine. Also very reasonably priced.A pity we don't live closer!

Popped in for a midweek dinner and they have brought back the midweek roast. My friend has this and was impressed and the presentation was great too. I had the burger. Well cooked and nice bun but the beef couldve been thicker. Both had the mushroms on toast with an soft boiled egg top and these were great. Super service and drinks - good to see it is back on the up.thank you very much for your review it was a pleasure

Had a takeaway from Buckingham Fort yesterday evening and was so impressed! Food was delicious (& refreshingly not oily), meat was tender, service was prompt and staff were fabulous. Thank you! My new go-to takeaway that blows all the others in Buckingham out of the water! Cannot recommend enough!

Had a lovely meal at papa j's in milton Keynes, we dine at the Luton branch quite often so we thought we'd try the MK branch as were close by.We weren't disappointed. The chilli chicken dry and the wings were a delight. Service by our waiter Mo was great. We will return again.Dear Kamal, Thank you very much for taking time to write a review about our service and food. Glad to hear that you had a wonderful experience and thanks for recommending our food and service. We look forward to welcome you again. Kind Regards, PapaJâs Team

Had a meal here with a friend, and we were both left disappointed with the food quality.Lamb tikka was rather chewy , a tiny bit of salad (which was fresh to be fair), and quite a bland masala. Even the popadoms felt a bit stale.Staff are friendly and helpful.I think Iâll give it a good few months before considering to visit here again.

This was a rare treat for us, and our first Indian takeaway from a local restaurant. Unfortunately, a great disappointment. Expensive at £30 for me and my young son, and the food was pretty disgusting, almost completely inedible. Tasted almost entirely of coconut with no seasoning and no aromatic flavour at all. The picture below is of our chicken tikka and chicken korma, believe it or not. Went in the bin as it was pretty much inedible.Dear Vanda,Thanks for your Review.I do disagree with all of your comments as they simply are not true.It seems that your review is a reaction to my response on your review on google/.Your review suggests that you paid £30 for a meal for you and small meal for your young son..The other thing you did not mention in the review was that you got all the following items for £27.-Chicken Tikka Masala-Chicken Korma-4 popadums-Pilau rice-Sag Aloo-Chana Masala-Peshwari Nan-Mango Chutney-Mint Sauce-Onion SaladNot actually expensive for £27 ,unless you are used to buying edible and un-revolting meals from supermarketsThe picture you posted is the picture of open half eaten containers of great tasting Tikka massala and Korma. If you were really that disappointed with the meal, we would have expected you to contact us and give us an opportunity to get things right.(although in this case i do not believe anything was wrong).

Ordered a takeaway. The plain popadoms were very greasy, but as recent reviews were good I didnât lose heart (didnât eat them though). Dansak was quite bland and proportion of lamb a bit disappointing (8 pieces) but it was the rice that shocked me - bright yellow! See pic. Peshawari naan was fine. I gave it 3 ... May be over-generous. Wonât be rushing back
