We had a family lunch here, 6 adults and 2 children. The food was a real delight! Such fun to try non-Italian food for once and, in this case, two very different types. The quality was exceptionally good!! The staff were friendly and the service was good.I really hope more people discover this restaurant as it's not in the best of places, above a shopping centre and therefore not easy to see or find. Well worth a visit!

Really good Indian food and I am from Scotland and curry is our national dish!!! We had a mixed starter to share of pakora, samosa and other fried vegetables. It was really good and a perfect size. We followed this with a Lamb Rogan Josh a chicken curry dish, lemon basmati rice and a plain nan. All were really delicious and fresh tasting. Including two beers, the bill was only 46 euros. Very good value and an excellent standard of Indian food. I would definitely recommend Guru.

We decided to try this restaurant as we saw reviews and was one of the best in bergamo. The set meal was the easiest for us to understand, all in for 20 Euro plus a bottle of house red 10 euros, so for all in 50 euros. We had a mixed starter beautifully presented... curled pappadom, onion barge, samosa, salad and dip all tasting fab and thin Nan bread you could die for, really lush. 2nd course tandoori chicken, leg and breast cooked to perfection. 3rd course, madras curry, and pilau rice served with garlic Nan bread. I was feeling really satisfied and pleased at this time ... just the dessert which we picked the ice cream which was delicious. We went up to the bar asked for the bill it came to 54 euros! Now I know itâs only 4 euros over but WHY! I hate fictitious things added to bill, as this has happened each time we ate out in Bergamo! They charged extra for dessert which should have been included. I wanted to query it but husband said not too, so it also caused a big disagreement between us! A horrible end to a lovely evening. I would have quite happily left a good tip! So despite good food and service, we were ripped off again. I just feel as if a hand had been in my purse. Food I would have given 4 stars but you canât reward someone who has ripped you off no matter how small an amount
