A small restaurant. Warm service. She speaks good english and helps. The food was ok but not great. I am a fairly good cook myself and a little demanding when it comes to North Indian/Mughlai cuisine. I have tried a few places around Frankfurt but this has been the best experience. A Pakistani restaurant, Shahi restaurant is located in Rüsselsheim roughly 25 minutes drive from Frankfurt or 35 minutes by local transport. We have been here a number of times now and have sampled Samosas, Paneer Tikka, Shahi paneer, Chicken Makhani, Lamb curry, Tadka daal and Jeera aloo with naan, paranthas and rotis. All excellent. The dishes are flavourful and neither bland nor too spicy, just right.The place is done up well, service is good. Staff is polite. Its always full to capacity, mostly German guests. A must visit for as home like Mughlai as it can get :))

Das Ambiente ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da einiges von dem chinesischen Vorgänger übernommen wurde. Aber man hat sich viel Mühe gegeben.Der Empfang ist herzlich, die Beratung sehr gut. Da alles frisch zubereitet wird, hat man auf den Schärfegrad Einfluss. Und man wird auch danach gefragt. Die selbstgemachten Dipps sind köstlich, alles andere auch und die Portionen sehr groÃ. Reste werden gerne eingepackt. Die Speisekarte ist riesig und es bleibt die Qual der Wahl. Hoffentlich bleiben sie uns lange erhalten.
