Things to do in Tawang
It was like an oasis in beautiful Tawang. We were served with steaming hot, creamy and very tasty coffee. The coffee house gives you an opportunity to know about all species of rhodo flowers and His Holiness Dalai Lama through a well stocked library in the land of Lord Buddh. The ambience is too good. A must stop over while on the way to Tawang Monastery
Blue Pine â Serve you with north-eastern India's Ethnic Cuisine, Indian, Continental and Chinese dishes. Blue Pine never let you forget the real taste of exotic north east India.

It was raining heavily & we were looking for a place to eat. My son was also quite tired & hungry. With very low expectations we went into Zomsa & how they surprised us! Their chicken thentuk was heavenly. My son especially loved it & so did we.
Greenwood Restaurant serves excellent veg and non veg food at affordable prices in Old Market. The restaurant is situated in the central area and offers excellent service.
Wonderful ambience Personalised service (owner lady is present) Located in heart of Tawang Market on the first floorDoes not serve liquor Superb chinese food with distinct flavours Local cuisine was exotic and one should not miss No aroma of non vegetarian food what more can a veggie as for. Will surely be there next visit.
The Sno Yak is upstairs in a building on the main road in the market area. Like every business in Tawang it suffer from the constant power cuts but manages to provide service in spite of them. The extensive menu is in English (a necessity for us ignorant English only types) and the prices are very reasonable. I ate there several times and all the dishes were excellent. Make sure to try the local pink sticky rice which is only available in the Bhutan/Tawang area. Their momos were especially good but disappointingly only the meat variety was available. Veg momos are on the menu but never actually available. I found locals eating there each time I visited which is always a good sign. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in Tawang.

I didn't understand why this place is so overrated. I understand that this is the only bar/pub in tawang but the place was not up to the mark. Average ambience. Poor Food...lack of staff... Its called a pub but they don't even have any energy drink. I went in the evening and light went of... They don't even have the necessary backup arrangements. They just open the door for light to come in.

The hotel staff was good and served fairly fast. We also took a takeaway once and were happy with the food for vegetarians like us. Their chutneys are very nice and spicey. The taste of food may not be the best but definitely is good and is also reasonably priced.
