Reviews on Indian food in Swansea, United Kingdom. Birthplace of poet Dylan Thomas, and the second-largest city in Wales, resilient Swansea offers a slew of leafy parks and some impressive cultural centers, including the new National Waterfront Museum and the renowned Dylan Thomas Centre. Rebuilt after WWII, the modern city of 230,000 has a charming outlook over Swansea Bay and the picturesque, unspoiled 16-mile-long Gower Peninsula, home to rich wildlife, prehistoric standing stones, dramatic cliffs and lovely beaches.

My second review of this excellent restaurant, and I am glad to say that the quality of the food is still delicious.I went with ten friends for a celebration meal for one of our colleagues. As previously, the Raduni did not fail to please any of us. Ali, Luke and all the staff were very helpful and friendly; this together with a great choice of food made for a special evening. Two of us had decided, once again, to share our main meal and we had Kochi Murog, a very tasty marinated chicken dish served with Pilau rice, and garlic naan leavened bread, also Chicken Balti, a traditional stir-fry with a great flavour. Thanks to all for a lovely night.

An attractive and comfortable restaurant with a contemporary menu with some innovative dishes as well as some regular favourites. My tandoori mixed grill was particularly good and we were all happy with out choices apart from the Thali which was rather disappointing.Hello,Firstly, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your recent experience with us. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your food, namely the mixed grill. I am sorry to hear however, that you felt let down with our Thali, as this is one of our most popular choices, so please note that this was not up to the regular standards. If you had informed a member of staff while dining, we would have done everything to rectify the situation. I hope that we are able to welcome you back again soon. Many Thanks,Silviu

First time visit and we were very impressed. All the food was amazing and the menu has a lot to choose from with some dishes that were new to us. We had fish tikka and chicken tikka starters which were cooked well and very tasty, the chicken was lovely and moist. We chose South Indian garlic chilli chicken, Goan fish curry with boiled rice and a chapati. Lots of garlic and a good heat from the chicken dish and the fish curry was delicious, the sauce was so good. The best curry weâve had in a long time. Just wish we had discovered this place on our last visit to Swansea as itâs minutes from where we stayed. Can highly recommend it and will definitely go again when weâre in Swansea

Set in the heart of Mumbles with breathtaking views of Swansea bay, the Mumtaz is a family run restaurant and takeaway providing traditional Indian hospitality, exceptional cuisine and charming service.
We have visited on several occasions since moving to Swansea and have always had great food, excellent service and the staff have been friendly. Our only concern now is that the restaurant has dropped to a low food hygiene rating following a recent inspection. We do hope changes will be made and this will improve.

Brilliant service and wonderful food! The atmosphere was delightful and cheerful, and together with the interior design of the restaurant, the experience was lovely. Special shoutout to my server, Noor, for his friendly conversation, I'll definitely be coming back!

First visit and stayed very simple had the nut burgers. Good food really tasty and filling just a real pity about the environment. Really needs some refurb scratches across walls lighting good enough to light a football match not really either relaxing or gentle. I know it is vegetarian and vegan but that doesn't mean it needs to be lacing good vibes. Please owners pull your fingers out and pay some attention to your customers comfort. You are nearly there with great food just go the extra mile.

Weâve been visiting The Indian Cottage weekly recently with the Meerkat Offer. Buy one main and get one main free. This really is a fabulous offer. Weâve had birianis, chicken curry and dhansaks all have been good. I do find their meals are little bit too spicy at times though! But Iâm a wus with my curries! We usually have two poppadoms and a chutney tray but find itâs a bit pricey at £4.10 as we only eat two of the chutneys - the onions and the mint sauce anyway so we omitted it this time and just had two poppadoms and mint sauce which was less than £2. Which suits us much better. Will we return yes definitely.

Ordered a takeaway which was overall very good Chicken Thika Pathia and Hash deluxe with two different rice and nanns. The Pathia was special but the Hash {duck} was very chewy this is probably my mistake in choosing duck which doesn't stand up to Indian cooking processes and marinating won't make the same mistake when I return and stick to chicken or lamb, all round good food and good service can recommend
