âHaweliâ derived from Hindi word âHaveliâ which describes an enclosed mansion built with pride to keep family members together. The word therefore immediately gives a sense of security, trust and closeness. The Haweli of Belmontâs philosophy lies on this
Got recommended to try here by family. We all order regularly from here and have all had similar experiences. First few times food was pretty good but then there food is very expensive. I mean £15.00 for a king prawn main dish.My 4th takeaway was terrible I mean a child could of cooked it. So I thought it was a one off. Next time I ordered I mentioned it and the manager couldn't get me off the phone quick enough and his excuse for the poor quality off food was "Ah yes we were very busy that night that was why" no sorry or anything just said that and said your order will be ready in 20 mins and hang up.I was a bit annoyed about it but still a few weeks later I ring up this time for a delivery. I was quoted 45mins delivery and an hour and a half later it turned up. Before it turned up I rang up the shop at 1hour and 10 mins to chase it up. Soon as he realised I wasn't placing another order he said it's on its way. I said I hope it won't be cold he quickly said no it will be fine and hung up on me. Driver turns up bill was £6 more than meant to be we had added it up I queried it and the driver looked surprised I had done so. There was a £3 delivery fee which was not mentioned and another £3 we couldn't account for.I said to the driver I'm not paying it, he said you have to I said it doesn't add up to that and there was no mention of a delivery fee as it says free delivery 18£ and over and we had spent 35£. He was adamant I paid it to which I said the delivery was 45 mins late, buy this point I said take the curry back then and he said you can't do that. So I paid him what it should of been. I won't be ringing up again as unless you are spending money on the phone he don't want you on there, they do not care for any complaints. So you may be lucky and get a nice meal which is overpriced or you could get a terrible meal which is overpriced. Either way you will get terrible customer service from an ignorant money grabbing manager. And I will be going elsewhere from now on. As I get free delivery and about a £10-£12 less on the same takeaway elsewhere with excellent service. Avoid this money grabbing image conscious restaraunt.

A nice trip to Goa! Visited this restaurant via friends recommendation. Personal service. With delicious dishes and a very friendly environment it feels like you're eating on the beaches of Goa. It is cooked to order. The fish in the curry was beautifully fresh. Very good value for money! We will be back!

We thought we'd found a curry restaurant to match our old favourite that had recently closed down. After an initial really good meal we've had 2 family meals that were a real let down. Food not as good as our first meal and we waited an absolute age for it to arrive. We thought it maybe a one off blip but went again a few weeks later and had exactly the same experience. Great pity, not sure we'll return.

I came here with my family on the hottest day of the year. We were so pleased to see that the restaurant had sufficient air conditioning which is especially needed when eating Indian food. The service was excellent; the host continuously on the lookout to make any recommendations and improve our night. My mother had ordered a strawberry flavoured cocktail but seemed as though they had run out of strawberries; this was quickly replaced, no problems whatsoever! For starters, I would recommend the samosas, but especially the Samosa Garam Chaat which was recommended by the host. The chickpeas compliment the samosa so well. As for the mains, the portion sizes were very big indeed. Compared to other local Indians such as Doosra and Thali Ho, the curry sauce portions are much more copious, so bear in mind. My favourite curry was the Kerala Lamb Curry, definitely recommend. Others ordered Biryanis that went down very well. We also ordered a King Prawn Moilee but we thought that this was a bit mild. We personally would prefer less coconut and more spice. Look forward to returning!Dear Klutch,Thank you for writing such a wonderful comments of our restaurant. Our team is very pleased to know that you and your family had a great time with us. We have newly launched our street food menu and it's been very popular among our guests. Samosa Gram Chaat is one of the top hit street food which we are selling a lot in our restaurant. Our main agenda is to make sure each guests are happy with our food and service. We indulge with lot of varieties in our menu and Kerala Lamb Curry , dish from Southern India, again a popular dish!!!We will pass your lovely comments to the Chef's and staffs and we look forward to welcome you again.

The home of Indian Cuisine in Nescot Skills Park. Ewell, near Epsom, Surrey. Please join us in our licensed restaurant or take advantage of our takeaway collection of delivery service. Free parking.
We attended on a Thursday evening for a mid week meal. We had more dishes than we would at a normal curry since the price is very reasonable. The restaurant was not busy and the food which arrived was very nice. We did have to order an extra rice so would advise one rice per person. Try the sizzling meat starter for two to share!

Though our food will tell you our story. Modern Indian Cuisine brought to you by world class chefs in a rustic but cosy setting.
We're not regulars here (yet) but have eaten a few times. Evenings at the weekend are buzzing (service is still good) but lunchtime works the best for us - it's much quieter. The menu is small and well selected (and undergoes an occasional tweak). Starters are all tasty (chicken chops, samosa chat our favourites) and the mains are universally good (pork vindaloo is just divine). It's difficult to fault a restaurant like this - it's a rival to Mr Todiwala's Cafe Namaste Spice in London, but much better value for money. It's a fine place, and they have made a fantastic job in creating a restaurant with atmosphere (even though it's on the Ewell bypass).I can't speak highly enough of Dastaan & wish them continuing success.

Tried this place as a change from the Noor Jahan and was pleasantly surprised. Firstly being Nepalese and not Bangladesh /Indian ,it has its own style and flavours , extra kick great taste to the sauces etc and was a very good experience overall . Will go back
