Ordered a takeaway over the phone only because one of our party was gluten intolerant so we wanted to know what was available. We asked how many poppadoms were in one portion told 1 so we ordered 2 portions we received 5?!?The Food arrived within an hour. Arrived warm not hotWe also received the wrong item we ordered chicken tikka masala... We received chicken? I phoned back to let them know of the mistake.I have NEVER been spoke to in such a manner. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Told it was my fault... Next time order online and WHATEVER. We were then told it will be there when it's ready. We waited another 30 mins. For all our food to be cold. I cannot believe they talk to people in this way. My family have come here for lots of meals however after today I will never order a takeaway or even consider eating in!Disgusting service. I was on a business trip in the Heathrow area and convinced a colleague to go out and have Indian food before our meetings the following day. My personal mission was to eat lamb curry. Initially I was quite challenged with the menu not being familiar with Indian dishes except for Tandoori. But waitress Punam (hope I spell her name correctly) did an excellent job to advise me and my colleague. The result was fantastic food paired with caring service. Zayani is very convenient as it is in the say walking distance of many of the hotels that people use when stopping over pre/post flying from Heathrow. Despite this, the food is reasonably priced, has a good variety of dishes and the service is personable.

I'm sure when they are on their game, the food and the atmosphere is top rate. As it should be with the quality of the name in the kitchen. Sadly, the front of house wasn't up to spec when my family and I visited earlier this month. Ignored at the podium, despite a reservation, no offer of water or drinks until we requested, never a check to see if the food was to our expectation, and a number of items on the menu not available. After the meal, there were a number of issues on the bill that the staff seemed to be ignorant to. It should not be a chore to give a business money. Trying to resolve the issue, onsite and online, few if any are willing to do anything other than provide lip service. Being an airport location, they may feel that they can get away with the "one and done" nature of most of their clientele. Outside the service, the food itself was very good and creative. I would love to try the other locations, but sadly with the service delivered on the first impression, I don't think I would if I had a choice.Dear Guestthank you for your feedback, albeit unusual. If you are looking for great Nepalese food with very friendly service then do visit Namaste Gurkha. It is not a large restaurant so ensure you book, especially on a weekend. Popular with families as children are very welcomeâ¦which adds to the hubbub of the overall atmosphere. We were delighted to find an authentic Indian restaurant in our airport hotel, and though it was expensive, the food was excellent. We started with poppadums and dips then had veggie pakora and tandoori scollops. For mains we had a prawn curry and dhal and creamed spinach. All wonderfully strong and clean flavours and more than enough to fill us up. Unfortunately all of our meal was tasteless from starters to main apart from the naan bread which was burnt. Please please can you marinate your meat. The service was poor too, no personal interaction it was as if we and other customers in my opinion were an inconvenience. No customer service unfortunately. We have visited your restaurant many times in the past but will not again.

Two American friends - passing through town - wanted to know the best place to eat Indian food.I travelled clear acrosss London to take them here. It was well worth it. The service - by the charming, ever-so-efficient FRANCO - was terrific; the atmosphere buzzy and friendly; the comfort levels and facilties are first rate. But it's the food that's the star. Succulent chicken, prawn and meat specialities that melt in the mouth. Try their special poppadom starters with unusual dips too. US - and UK - were impressed!!
