We went to the Rajpoot twice last week. Not only was the food amazing as always but the service was fantastic as well.Thank you, Shumz, for your excellent service which, even when your restaurant was very busy, never faltered. Raj, my King Prawn Tawa Jalfrizi was amazing and the garlic naan the best I have ever had. I'm sure we will be seeing you again very soon.

VIsited today for lunch. Superb service from extremely professional and attentive young man. Food was delightful, fresh, highest quality ingredients, inventive choices and very carefully seasoned. My friend said it was the best prawn puree she had ever tasted!. Shilpa never disappoints but today they were on top of their game. If you are within 50 miles of this restaurant, take a detour, you wont be disappointed!

This a Indian takeaway with delivery service! Best and oldest takeaway in the town. Cheap and delicious curryâs made by our award winning chef every day! You are welcome to try.
Normally good curries here, been going for years, but tonight the sag aloos - and the potatos were all really dry and hard. The dansak was unusually sweet, the pathia not as good a flavour as usual - and the rices were all very dry. A tad disappointed on this occasion.

St Ives is not short of Indian restaurants. At one time this was the best of the bunch. Bright decor, nice food and a buzzing atmosphere. Now, it does not appear to be doing quite so well. Only one other table was occupied when we visited on a Sunday evening. The same decor that at one time look progressive and inspirational is looking a bit tired. The wall next to us showed signs of curry stains and the coving in some areas has fallen off the wall. The menus look to be the original ones from when the place first opened and are literally falling apart. One shining light was the waiter, who was informative and very friendly. He deserves better.

Whilst the food is not too bad at Montaz, we experienced some very, very poor table service and overall care and attention. We ordered a range of dishes which included a tandoori mixed grill and chicken patia - the latter of which was okay but not brilliantly fragrant - but I definitely felt there was more quantity over quality. None of the dishes were overwhelmingly great truth be told. The mixed grill accompanying salad was comprised of unattractive dried lettuce which was off-putting.The service was very subpar and slow. Our meals took quite some time to arrive, the dishes werenât cleared away after we finished poppadoms to begin with, and our request for another mango chutney and dips tray was forgotten. When we did receive service, it didnât come with a smile, there was zero friendliness and it was passionless.Much prefer St Ivesâ other curry house, Zzohanna. I wonât be coming back to Montaz in a hurry.

What a wonderful find. The menu is exciting and the dishes offered are different and interesting with good descriptions to help you chose. The quantity and quality of the meat in the dishes is unsurpassed by any Indian restaurant I have previously visited, and I have been to dozens, Despite the thirty minute drive it will now be my go too Indian. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. The interior is smart and clean with a lovely ambiance. Can't wait for my next visit.

We have tried a few times to get a table here as it is very popular at weekends I whould recommend booking a week in advance ! We had a bit of a wait when we got there as it was rammed and they were trying to turn tables. They were very apologetic about it all and soon sorted are tables. We had starters excellent sweet potatoe cakes and stuffed sweet peppers. They have a great menu with some very different specials we both very good meals I had a lamb dish which was medium spiced and without any doubt the tenderest lamb curry I've ever had.my wife had a chicken dish which she said was delicious. Great rice and breads very fresh, hot fantastic Indian food 10 out of 10. Definitely going back.

We ordered a takeaway from Olive last month. Firstly weâre struck by the amazing selection on the menu, some really unusual regional dishes and street food selections not available from any other Indian in town. That said the usual favourites were still there. We ordered a good selection. Ordering was easy and we opted to collect because they give you a discount for collection. The food was amazing, I have travelled extensively in India and this is as authentic as Iâve tasted since. Simply lovely. Weâve ordered 2 more takeaways since and are planning to eat in soon. The refurbishment of the old Indian that was there before is wonderful. Itâs so different the colours and lighting make it look very inviting. Looking forward to our next Indian meal from Olive. Highly recommended! Hi grant a warm welcome from team olive it's really nice to see you have tried our street food we hope to carry on providing you with quality auenthic food and World class service.Olive team
