Been coming here for years.. Our son, now 4 year old loves it, he always asks for mixed kebab starter. Recently I recalled a dish I used to enjoy at other restaurants called Lamb Channa Korai.. basically Lamb with chickpeas in a rich sauce, served in a hot korai.. the waiter was kind enough to ask the chef to make it for me, and it was fabulous.. the lamb was very tender indeed.. this restaurant is very friendly, clean and accommodating

Haven't actually been in more than timescale on here but from memory was excellent clean tasty good value food. Recently passed by poor looking location on upper floor of main shopping area and signage needs fixing might try again but those things would put you off.

Creating a growing buzz since its opening in May 2014, Vadah Restaurant situated by the Riverside in Stockton re-creates traditional Indian cooking with a twenty-first century twist. Vadah serves authentic Indian food, brilliantly presented, with breath-t
If you like authentic Indian food, in a place that is buzzing and packed with people even on a Tuesday night, and love great service, then look no further than the Vadah!Four of us decided late in the evening (8pm) to look for somewhere to eat and the Vadah was the closest to where we were. We gave them a call and they said there would be a table within 20 mins - we arrived a few mins later and a table became available in only 5 mins - and we were seated and ready to be served in less than 10!The staff are super friendly and very professional and efficient.I was keen to have the hottest curry on the menu as I have built up a huge tolerance to spicy food over the years and crave a well made, spicy curry, but the waiter was not sure I knew what I was letting myself in for and, quite rightly, was a little worried that I wasn't just another - come on - bring me the hottest thing you have - only to have me leave in an ambulance! However, I think I managed to convince them as I had the king prawn biryani extra extra extra hot - it came and was a much deeper red than my mum's 'just a little spicy' version. It was super delicious and yes, my mouth was very warm - but the next time I go, I am hoping they will concede and go that extra bit spicier :)I really cannot fault this restaurant at all and will definitely be back for another visit then next time I am in town!Cheers guys!

Spent the night in Ferryhill on way home from our holidays and we were a bit apprehensive taking our 6 year old into an Indian, sheâs not a curry fan, but she loved it. Not a traditional meal but we managed to get something for her to eat.My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals, really tasty, and the service was outstanding. Not from the area but would love to come back.

Visited this superb Indian restaurant on a Saturday night with a friend. Have been there probably a dozen times before. The restaurant is quite small once inside & even if you've booked (advisable...) eg. a window seat, you sometimes still have a wait until you get your table. The food - and drinks are exquisite. This place never disappoints, even due to its rural location. The staff work extremely hard & are always courteous, thanking you for coming & seeing you out after your visit. This restaurant will still be there in 100 years time simply because of the excellent name & goodwill that beholds it. Pay it a visit - you won't be left disappointed.
Visited last week for the first time and found friendly staff and enjoyed a freshly cooked meal that was delicious and would definitely recommend and will be going back to try other dishes.

Great restaurant. Spotlessly clean, including the toilets. Food and service excellent. Bottled lager good and loads to eat. There's an expensive menu and a not so expensive menu. We went for the not so expensive but still got great food and lots of it. We paid about £270 for 8 of us. We all had 3 drinks and started with poppadoms and dips Can't find a fault with the place. Can't wait to go back.

Unless you fancy spending the night and the following day being violently ill ('both ends', in the vernacular) then steer clear of the Kekada. My friend and I both chose this as a starter and suffered the consequences.Nothing more to say other than that I will never eat here again...
