Our culinary philosophy is deceptively simple. We celebrate the very best of Indian food. Indian Lounge cuisine is an extraordinary combination of flavours, delicate seasonings, in- house freshly ground spices, marinades, and complex tastes. We use only f
Decided to try this recently refurbished restaurant under new ownership last July. Have not used another Indian since. The welcome on arrival, ambience, and amazing quality of the cuisine cannot be surpassed. Everything i have tried has been wondrful and full of flavour, and the prices are good for your pockets . And no garish decor or large tv belting out Bollywood. Relax, enjoy the service from a wonderful family run establishment.

As a party of ten we had another great visit to Nishat Spice. The staff are polite and helpful, the food very tasty with good portions. Added bonus you can bring your own alcohol but they do serve soft drinks.

Ordered 2 Chicken Karahi dishes and was served thin slivers of chicken tikka. All chicken dishes are served with this. We told the waiter and he just shrugged his shoulders. Dishes donât have much chicken either and are loaded with onions and veg.Starters came without any sauces and were tiny. Two minuscule samosas for £4,50 and chappatis are £1.50 each. Rip-off. The chef is lazy.

We had a lovely meal here. The service was friendly and the food was really tasty. The portions are big and we couldn't manage it all which was a shame. It's a little dated decor wise but the food was fab.

We visited here on Friday we are not local to the area but staying not far and got recommendation to try. The resturant was fairly busy for a Friday evening which is always a good sign . We were seated straight away and given menu to browse I order a bottle of reasonable priced bottle of chardannay . And offered papadums and pickle tray . They were lovely . We then order onion Bhaji for myself and my husband had garlic musherooms . Our mains were tandoori king prawn masala and tikka tikka special both with pilau rice( you get a lot of rice so best just to order one to share) we also ordered a garlic & cheese naan bread to share. Food was lovely could fault anything we finished with coffee and cream and when we asked for the bill we were given complementary baileys and brandy . The whole meal including wine and coffee came to £56 which we though excellent value the service was excellent too.

Great place to go if you want to wait for hours and get insulted by miserable condescending waiters. If you want decent service try the 10:30 mass around the corner at St Martins, you may only get water and wine but at least the priest will treat you with respect and you wonât end up in curry hell. To be fair, the food was okay when it finally (halleluiah) arrived, and the waiter did eventually apologise for his unacceptable behaviour, but by then the evening was ruined. Amen.Well you haven't wrote the full story!!! Did you forget what happend?Your table ate Papadoms, starters and then main courses. And how long the whole thing took us to serve? It took us an hour. Now you tell how quicker you expect a restaurant to serve 3 course? It's a restaurant not a fast-food chain.Your lady friend was already drunk when you people arrive to the restaurant. Our waiter was concern that's why he simply asked whether 'She is OK not'. The restaurant is fully Licensed and when we did our course for personal licensed one of the rules was 'do not serve more alcohol to drunk customer'. Let me remind you how your friend was behaving. She was dropping the cutlaries on the floor, walking around in the restaurant like its park, she was keep repeating her self about about cutlaries even after we replaced them for her. And 2nd waiter was telling her that madam here is your fresh cutlaries. 2nd waiter repeat himself 3 times and he understood that you friend is drunk, so he left to continue his food serving. When the food was served to the table, our waiter asked you if everything is OK? What did you said, remember? You said we will talk after finishing the meal. While other people were still eating, you came to the waiter on the corner of the bar and trying to negotiate silently. You try to tell us we were wrong even though we didn't say or try to do anything bad or rude. You try to forcefully pay less. You came twice to the bar to and apply you verbal force to make the waiter agree on you unacceptable conditions. You said if we take £100 and you will not write a review. If we take the full bill then you write a negative review. We try to explain you that we haven't said or did anything wrong so why we should take less money. In fact our waiter said sorry to you if he done something wrong according ton you words. But still you keep saying the same thing and at some point you said you will leave without paying. You repeated few times. What we did wrong that we have to tolerate you unacceptable behaviour? Listen if any fault is from our side we try to do whatever we can to make people happy. In your case we haven't done anything wrong so why we should agree on your conditions?Just pathetic man, You people are sick.2 of the waiting customers argued with you because they heard everything what you been talking with the waiter. At one point those 2 guys said they will beat you up if you take this any further. If we were wrong then they shouldn't have told you off. Look we don't need people like you to come to the restaurant. You people are just trouble makers. We don't want to see you again the restaurant. You guy's are band from Rice&Spice for lifetime. Amen
