We have visited this restaurant a number of times, and each stay is absolutely incredible...it has this 'off the beaten path' type of feel (maybe because we always go late), and I personally love it...we have never had a reason to complain about anything, and I'd highly recommend to everyone!!

I love Indian food and have eaten at MANY Indian restaurants. Based on Samosa, Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Anjeer-Subz Kofta, I can say that Lehja was quite good. I will definitely eat here again when shopping at Short Pump. That being said, I will not order Anjeer-Subz Kofta. With this order you get two croquets in sauce. After you eat those you are left with a bowl of sauce. The dish is priced at $15. $7.50 per croquet does not really seem worth it. I'd venture that the chef could add 4 more (for 6 total) and the profit margin of that dish would not be substantially impacted.

First time here right off Broad Street near Short Pump. Nice restaurant. Came here for lunch which is a terrific value. They offer Shrimp Curry, Eggplant, Shrimp or Chicken Tandoort and Lamb. I had the Chili Chicken which was very tasty. They also offer Dumplings, Mushroom Prahi and Baby Clams. Potatoes and cauliflower, Cheese with onions, Chickpeas and potatoes, Seafood curry and Chicken Breasts. The Naan was very good. Lunch is from noon to three and they open for dinner at 5. If you like Indian food you will like this place. If you want it mild they will make it mild. Very good service. Will go back very soon to try some of their other specials.

This was by far the best Indian food I've ever had. Lots of new dishes and flavors to try. We started with the Bloody Mary which featured a lot of Indian flavors. Delicious. For an appetizer we had the shrimp madras. Perfectly cooked shrimp with coconut and other yummy flavors. For dinner we split the chicken Chetinadu(amazing) and the scallops masala (scrumptious), all accompanied by excellent garlic naan and very solid raita. I was VERY happy to have leftovers to savor the next day but could have easily taken it down. Wish we lived closer so we could hit the repeat on that. Only thing holding me back from five stars was that it took a loooooooooong time to get our drink order in and then even longer to get said drinks. Honestly, I think they didn't assign us a server or he simply forgot us as the place was not ridiculously busy on a Sunday night.
