Good food at a very reasonable price with special offers at mid week. Also all food cooked with as little saturated fat as possible. Brilliant takeaway service, good selection of wines and beers. Wi-Fi available.
After hearing of many good things from friends about the Balti Spice I finally decided to visit. I was greeted by the owner and a very charming man (had a nice conversation). Ordered food on recommendation and was impressed. Everything was delicious and will definitely be returning. My new number one Indian in St Helens
Tried a few different meals from here. All fantastic well cooked lovely flavours not your generic sauce plus chilli for heat. Dishes are all different taste wise meat is good quality no fatty rubbish. Always delivered within an hour and food arrives well packaged and hot. Only downside is what to choose all meals sound lovely. You can order via their own website which is easy to use never had a problem with it. If you like Indian you will love this little gem

We're an Award Winning Indian Restaurant Located In Rainhill, Surviving The Very Best Quality Indian Food. We Are Highly Recommended By Our Customers For Our Outstanding Mouthwatering Dishes, Extensive Menu, HUGE Selection Of Drinks & First Class Service.
We went on Friday evening and there were a few people in even at 6.30. Also takeaways were going out reasonably frequently, both of which is usually a good sign. Staff were very friendly and service was in a reasonable time. My Sheek Kebab was tasty but for me it could have had a little more heat and spice. My wife had crab cakes which she said were ok but would struggle to say they were crab if she didnât know. I asked for something nice and hot for main and took the chaps recommendation. When it came it wasnât that hot but it was sweet. When he asked how it was he said he would change it. He did say that what I chose as an alternative would also be sweet!! I asked for anything that wasnât sweet but hot. Within less than a minute he returned with a meal!? It wasnât sweet but did taste of vinegar. (And looked similar to what just went back). I can only assume it wasnât a new dish but my previous one with added vinegar to take away the sweetness. The Sag was delicious. Would I go again? Probably, just to see if it was any better for me. As I said, others seemed to be enjoying the food.

Visited here twice in October 2019 and both times were fabulous. Lovely environment in an old building, plenty of seating and enough space to enjoy your meal. Staff make you feel very welcome. Food was delicious and freshly cooked and good sized portions, so much so that we never managed to finish al our food on both visits. definitely a hidden gem in St Helens and well worth a visit. reasonably priced and if in the area again I will return.

The blue mango always exceeds all expectations and goes above and beyond to make the best indian ever!My fav is the chicken tikka with pilau rice. My parents have tried wide varieties of indian dishes. We are frequent enough guests not only because the food is divine but the owner and workers are friendly, the place is peaceful and if I could rate this 1000 out of 5, I definitely would.
