Recently went with a group from The Business Forum, 16 of us and service was good, all the food arrived in a timely and reasonable way - no one waited, everyone had something different and the food came HOT (cooking hot), out of 16 no one complained and all commented on their food being good or very good. I've had take out food delivered in the past and again always been very good.

Welcome to Maharanis, Peterborough's Finest, Indian Cuisine, located in the heart of Deeping St. James Conservation area. Our Indian Restaurant is a family run business which is well-known within the local community and we look forward to welcoming custom
A reasonably regular visitor to this restaurant and for good reason. The food is always excellent and the service good. Window seats give a nice view of the river Welland if you can get one. We usually reserve beforehand as the restaurant can get quite busy. Special nights will see you full and taking some home with you.

We recently spent a night in Stilton (near Peterborough)away from the kids. We were keen to explore the village knowing there were 3 pubs (including the hotel we were staying at) and a curry house. We read the reviews of Angel Spice and were happily satisfied to go there for our evening meal. Luckily I managed to book a table for 7pm as by 8pm the curry house was packed. With Stilton being one of the oldest and most established communities for a few miles around this must be a "go to" destination. It is a beautiful building. It used to be The Angel Inn pub and is right opposite the only remaining hotel in the village The Bell Inn. With the high street being the former A1 you can see why such a collection of hostelries existed. The village was bypassed in the 70s and eventually cut off completely from through traffic in the early part of this century. The food was fantastic here and very well priced as well. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. I can see why this place was packed even as early as 8pm on a Saturday night. For anyone staying in Stilton on a Saturday night that enjoys a curry, look no further!

Noticed the Little India a few times when driving by, seemed an odd place to find an Indian restaurant but decided to take a chance and visited Friday evening for a meal. The decor inside is modern and quite nice, it was not very busy when we arrived but the greeting was good. The menu is extensive with all the usual dishes but I was pleased to find that they also do some fish dishes, most Indian restaurants only do prawn dishes, so a very good start to our first visit. We declined the poppadoms and pickle and went straight to starters, I chose Fish Biran and my partner had a Mixed Platter, both arrived very quickly. I must say mine was delicious, my partner said his was ok, when we finished the dishes were cleared very quickly and the main courses arrived straightaway. I had Sea Bass Dhoom Sumander with plain rice and my partner ordered Chicken Rogan Josh with pilau rice although he received Lamb Rogan Josh...there was a lot of sauce on my sea bass which was very nice and the lamb in the rogan josh was really tender in a tasty sauce. We had two side dishes, onion bhajee and bombay aloo, both were lovely and my partner had the best Nan heâs ever tasted. We had really nice food and very good service, plus the prices are very reasonable; however, it felt rushed as we would have enjoyed a longer break between courses. To sum up: we would certainly recommend Little India and will be back very soon.

We visited the Taj Mahal restaurant as we were staying 20 minutes away and looking for somewhere still serving food after 9pm! Checked out some on trip advisor and found it. So glad we went, great food, great service and great value for money. We all really enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend! :)

Namaste and welcome to the Gurkha Lounge Hampton, Peterborough ! BAR | RESTAURANT | TAKEAWAY Gurkha Lounge the first Nepalese & Indian Restaurant of its kind in Hampton . Bringing you the best Nepalese & Indian cuisine with an unmatched ambience & setting
This was our first visit. The decor and furnishings are contemporary and welcoming, the lighting also. Despite coming in after a large party (perhaps 40+ people?) we were seated and served with little delay. For mains we had Tandoori Salmon and Chicken Madras respectively. Both were good. Recommend you try the Peshwari Nan,as we did. We had an interesting chat with the waiter, once things had settled down later on.Will definitely return.Dear Guest,Thank you for choosing our restaurant Gurkha Lounge Hampton, and for taking the time to write a review!
