At the 2010 United States Census, the population was 40,742, reflecting an increase of 4,455 (+12.3%) from the 36,287 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 5,000 (+16.0%) from the 31,287 counted in the 1990 Census. Located south of the city of New Brunswick, North Brunswick was named for its earlier-established neighbor, South Brunswick, New Jersey. The "Brunswick" comes from New Brunswick, which was named after the German city of Braunschweig (formerly translated in English as Brunswick) or for the British royal House of Brunswick. North and South Brunswick, in turn, became the namesakes for East Brunswick. Alternatively, the city gets its name from King George II of Great Britain, the Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg.

This Restaurant is fairly new and four of us came here on the recommendations of some friends. The décor was very simple, and strangely there was nobody to welcome the diners when we entered, so we seated ourselves at a table. The ambiance and service seemed to be lacking completely, but the food was surprisingly delicious.We ordered some dishes based on the opinions of our waiter when we asked him what was popular here. We informed him that we were not that familiar with the food from Andhra Pradesh, yet he seemed extremely reluctant to talk. Geez! We literally had to pry information out of him.For Appetizers, we got the Guntur Mirchi Bajji and Vegetable Cutlets. For the Main Course, we ordered the Pomphret Fry (Whole Fried Fish), Chicken Biryani and the Natu Kodi Pulusu (Chicken Curry). We also had some White Rice and Malabar Paratha as sides. Every dish was nicely prepared and tasty, but it was interesting to note that each item arrived one at a time and without any serving spoons or knives. We had to repeatedly ask for them for serve ware and paper napkinsâ this annoyance took away a lot from our dining experience. At the last minute another pleasanter server showed up and said that we have to try their special Puran Poli for dessert. We did, and I have to admit that it was a perfect finish to our meal. They get an extra star for that!The portions were adequate and the prices were reasonable. The food tasted very good, but the lackluster service and bored attitude of the servers were really bothersome. It looked like the place is mostly aimed at âTake-Outâ. We were the only diners there for a long time, but there was a steady stream of Carry Out Bags constantly readied to go.Not sure we will be returning since this Restaurant is a little far for us just to order take-out, and since there are plenty of places nearby serving similar dishes and offering a better dine-in experience, we will opt to go there.

We always pick punjabi rasoi over the 100 other Indian and Pakistani food joints in the neighborhood.. The food is always delicious prepared fresh to orderI love the friendliness and service It's a small place that doesn't have the frills. Great place to wind down for a quick dinner

We were a group of 10 that ordered about 15 different menu items. The place was busy and the wait in line was about 15 mins.We needed extra (refill) of chole halfway through the meal and were told to wait in line ! Then were told that the refill of chole ( Chana ) was $7.99 as compared to the price of entree of Chana w/bhatira - $ 8.49!!! The pricing or the wait did not make sense!! Will not go back there ever again.

We came to know about a newly opened Indian Restaurant - Mollaga Indian Grill at North Brunswick and decided to check it out for lunch. The place is near the Chipotle Mexican Grill off Route 1 . It is neat and can accommodate about 25 customers. They serve Indian cuisine on a ' build your own ' food from the menu options approach similar to Chipotle Mexican Grill . You can opt for snacks like Kathi Rolls , Samosa or go for a full meal ,non veg or veg by selecting Roti or Rice with dal , subzi and salad options. The selected food is then charged accordingly. We opted for a full meal with biriyani and other items to go with it and the children went for Kathi Rolls. They also serve good jalebis and masala chai. - all North Indian Cuisine.

The food here was very good. I especially liked the desserts here, I would say that the meat dishes here are more delicious than the vegetarian. dishes. However, the vegetarian dishes are very good. One problem: the atmosphere. The atmosphere was very cafeteria-like, and I like the food is seperate and not next to each other. I had to reach aldeway in the middle to get some food. Overall, very good food.

I was there with a group of friends (10 people). We ordered number of items from the menu and trust all of us...every item was very tasty and original. Some of the items which stole our heart were "Dahi ke Kabab, Tandori Malai Gobi, Fish, Very original (different) Butter Chicken, Ghee Ghost...BUT BUT BUT again every single item was delicious.All of this was futher topped with Kunal's singing and great staff. This place is a repeat for sure!!!

The Mega Buffet was Mega expensive for lunch! It was overpriced and the food was too spicy. We regularly eat Indian food and this was disappointing. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the quality of the food does not warrant a $17.99 lunch buffet. Soda bottles were left out for customers to pour themselves into plastic disposable cups. Styrofoam cups were provided as well for desserts and items on the buffet. The chairs were worn and stained.

I was quite impressed with this place. The food was very good, the service was polite and the atmosphere was pleasant. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the fare.My colleagues and I met my son and his girlfriend for dinner. We needed a place that was easy for them to reach from Clifton. This place was not far from the Turnpike and had positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Since all involved were fans of Indian food, we decided to give it a try.The location in a non-descript strip plaza was nothing special. The interior was nice enough with a simple but comfortable decor. Upon walking in, we were greeted and seated right away. Our server was very polite and did a great job looking after us during our entire visit.We started with Aloo Papdi Chaat (crispy wafer, potatoes and chickpeas in yogurt tamarind sauce), Andhra Mirchi Bajii (signature dish consisting of fried chili dipped in chickpea batter and deep fried) and Gobi 65 (the chef's special of cauliflower florets marinated in yogurt and spices). All of the appetizers were terrific and the Papdi Chaat was particularly tasty. For entrees, we had the Gongura Chicken (cooked with sorrel leaves and regional spices), iSpice Chicken Curry (cooked in spicy peanut sauce, tomato and onion sauce), iSpice Goat Curry (goat meat cooked in spicy peanut sauce, tomato and onion sauce), iSpice Chicken Curry (cooked in spicy peanut sauce, tomato and onion sauce) and Hyderabadi Dum Briyani (marinated chicken and basmati rice with traditional spices). All of the entrees were also excellent but the Gongura Chicken had a great taste with unusual flavoring and just the right amount of kick.The prices, considering what we had, were very reasonable. We had garlic naan, chili cheese naan and two soups with the items described above. The total after tax and tip was $150, or $30 apiece. There was also quite a lot of food to take away at the end making it a pretty good deal.Overall, this was quite a good place. The food was excellent, the service was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The prices were reasonable making this place a very good bargain. I will look forward to the next time I can visit.

We were in New Brunswick area yesterday and ordered food from Dosa Grill for 1st time. I have to say we were really impressed with the prep. All food was really good, the sambhar was awesome and dosa are simply too good. A must go place for south indian food. I will be back for sure.
