We went as a family of six as it was my fathers 77th birthday. We all had starters which were lovely and fresh followed by a variation in meals consisting of fish, chicken and a vegetarian dish all cooked to perfection. Our son has a nut allergy of which they were absolutely on the ball with this. My one and only disappointment would be that my fathers birthday was not acknowledged during the meal perhaps a little something with a candle would have been a lovely gesture. Other than this the food, service and ambience was very good. We will return. x

Authentic Indian takeaway. Serving Indian curries, grilled food, kebabs and burgers.
Eat from here on a weekly basis, always delicious no matter what I order. Delivery never late and normally quicker than stated.

Enjoyed a very good meal at this restaurant with friends. Excellent value for money, five courses for £9.95. Food was plentiful, well presented and tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice touch was complimentary Bailey's to finish off with. Would recommend.

Not been here for about 2 years. Family decided to book as local one had gone down hill in our eyes. From the minute we walked in to the moment we left the staff couldnât do any more to make us all welcome. Food was excellent, never had as much chicken in a curry. Everybody enjoyed it even picky teenagers said it was good. Many thanks to all, we will definitely return.

I visited this new Indian restaurant on Tuesday night (18th) June. Really nice that at last we have a restaurant in the town. The staff are welcoming and attentive and the food was superb. Well presented and delicious the food was excellent. Definately recommend this place and local people need to support the staff in this venture. Give it a try you won't be disappointed !!

Indian/Bangladeshi BYO restaurant & takeaway open 7 days a week including bank holidays. 10% discount on collection orders. Home delivery Service is Available too.
We booked the Spice Library for a family birthday meal. All arrived and were seated by 7pm. The food was ordered and the starters did not arrive until 8:45pm. I personally stood at the bar for over 15 minutes to buy 2 soft drinks. The food when it arrived was OK not spectacular. But overall the service was the worst weâve seen here for a long time. Lack of enthusiasm, lack of customer interaction, spoiled a great family occasion. I will not be visiting the Spice Library again!

We have tried many home delivery restaurants and all have gone down hill over the last year or so. So I decided to try this one - and am I glad I did.The food arrived in the time stated and it was superb. The Tandoori Mixed grill was excellent. I always start with a piece of the Sheek Kebab as that usually gives an indication of the quality of the food. This was quite probably the best I have ever had (Well the first one I had was about 45 years ago) and it is certainly the best I have had in this area over the last 4 years plus - by a mile. The rest of the mixed grill was beautifully spiced and cooked. if I have to make any criticism it would be the chicken leg was a little on the small size. Maybe it was so good I am just being greedy as there was plenty of food.My partner had the Chicken Bhuna. I tried some and again it was superb. Again beartifully spiced and full of flavour. This was again far better than other places we have used in the area. The onion ghaji were a little small and dlightly too crunck, but were still good. The Peshwari Nan was also nice.Any negative points were really insignificant and in my opinion do not warrant giving this place less than a 5 start marking. They will certainly be hearing from me again.

Really good food. Decent service in terms of speed but could have been a bit friendlier / welcoming. Large portions so made the mistake of ordering too much. Would recommend.
