We were staying in a hotel a few doors down the street and got back on Sunday night to find that the hotels restaurant was closedMelton Mobrey does not seem to be blessed with restaurants open on Sunday nightSo we went into Tandoori Knights as it was openWhat a lucky choice the service was good and the food very tasty, quite spicy but thatâs how we like it as we are fed up with tasteless Indian food The Keralan fish curry was a big hit with my wife and my Dansak was great too

We have been here so many times and never had anything less than a great meal. All of our kids have had birthdays here and my partner too. In terms of value even on full price night, 8 of us ate and drank including brandy, wine and beer for £140 for 4 courses. We bought home 2 untouched dishes. Best indian I've been to

Had a meal here recently and felt I must leave a review. They got us in quickly considering how busy they were. We were attracted over by the smell in the pub garden, and we werenât disappointed. Fabulous service and a good selection of food. Lovely wine made for a fantastic evening. Would eat here again- if I was ever in the area.

We have been using this restaurant for some time now and found the food and service excellent but in the summer how food turned up almost cold this is the very first time this has ever happened I called the restaurant the very same night and complained we didn't contact then for some weeks because of family illness and travel but when they did they kept to there promise of making up and so they did with a lovely bottle of wine so unexpected and as usual good excellent food.not only good food but excellent service Empress of india you are amazing we are lucky to have you near byeHi Linda, thank you for your review firstly sorry for the mishap in the summer and glad you enjoyed your meal and the bottle of wine, see you soon.

The Soi stands head and shoulders above the usual Indian restuarants that we have dined at over the years with the comfortable furniture giving a Pleasent ambiance to the usual thing you would expect to find, the Management and staff make you most welcome with exellent service, generous portions and advice on the food shown on the menu, we all agreed we couldn't fault the Soi and will certainly return to repeat the experience, I guess this is the closest to home cooking you could find

Been here a number time now and never disappoints. The food is really good and the customer service is exemplary. The front of house is always friendly and welcoming and the table service is always prompt , friendly and helpful. When in the area will come back here again.
