We found ourselves here almost serendipitously - we wanted to eat indian food and since there was a football match we decided to look for an indian restaurant that had a TV. We had to drive around and follow instructions but we found ourselves there. It didn't look like much but after tasting our meals - we were happy to have landed here. It was a lovely eating experience, the service was great, the proprietor himself advised us on the meals and portions. The buttered chicken was great and had just enough spices on it. some great garlic and buttered nan to boot. It was fairly priced and it was quite unfortunate that I never made it back there. If I ever make it to Lusaka again - I will be sure to patron this establishment to rekindle memories made by my taste buds.

I craved for curry and decided to give a try to Bombay lounge. Curry itself (CTM) was pretty decent although greasy. However my colleague ordered steak which resembled the old leather shoe sole and was absolutely not edible. Service is very slow, waiters are disinterested and seem to be picked up from the street without being given any training. Prices are way too high for what Bombay Lounge offers.

We had some guests over from Japan last weekend and decided to take them out to this restaurant that we usually see while heading home. When we entered we loved the place and were also attended to very well by the waiter. All was well until the food came out. Honestly the food was a disaster, flavorless and stale is all I can say. I would defiantly return for some drinks but not for a meal.

The restaurant is in a thatched area just next to the parking, with linen covering chairs and tables. The food was very good, the portions are big, so two people could easily share. We had a problem with our naan being overcooked (actually burnt). The service was really not good, we waited a very long time to get anyone to bring drinks etc.

Good Indian in the city centre
We had a Monday evening supper here and were pleased. The food was very correct and tasty. The chicken hydrabadi biryani was delicious. Service was fine and it was lovely sitting outside on the veranda with twinkly Christmas lights. Will definitely return to explore the menu more.
