Reviews on Indian food in Lowlands, Tobago, Caribbean including Chunkay Roti Shop, Anchor Bar & Grill, Rena Chatack Roti Shop, The Terrace Cafe, Uptown Food Delight Roti Shop, Tasteus Doubles
Doubles is the national streetfood of T&T. Two flat, fried breads with a chickpea/channa filling with some delightful dressings. We added meat!
Unique and offers a wide variety of meats to indulge and taste. very consist in his preparation and very reasonable as well.
Rena roti's are in all the reviews I thought this one was better. Roti is chickpea flour crepe stuffed with your choice of goat beef chicken shrimp channa curry( chick peas again) and potato curry. They wrap it up. It is large and can feed two people Note the chicken goat and beef had some bones you have to pick out. This is Caribbean soul food. It comes out to 7 dollars american money and is well worth it. We love to eat local and this one was a keeper we were staying in Scarborugh and kept going back her for more

Is worth the effort seeking this place out. One of the best roti and buss up shot I've eaten, and best part is they take credit cards, perfect for the vacationer who don't have a lot of cash with them.
Anchor Bar and Grill is located on one of the popular beaches in Tobago. The soft sand between your toes, the magical sunsets, turquoise water, refreshing cocktails and mouth watering food are only a few of the ingredients offered, to make your time here
This is âDeath in Paradiseâ without the death. The bar is on the beach with the restaurant alongside. There are no frills, tablecloths, etc., but the experience is quite memorable. All meals are cooked to order by Mama, and she produces some lovely dishes to try in the open sided area which is under cover. If you go to Tobago you must call in here.
Used this place several times whilst in Tobago, the food was simple, cheap and very tasty. Around TT45 each well worth the money, highly recommended café.
