it was Garba night and almost 10. most of the restaurants get close by that time. it was recently opened so we decided to try. it was almost empty ( might be closing time). the only table which was occupied was by my colleagues ( which I got to know later on). got the table, we settled and gave our order as the waiter said, whatever we are ordering, would be our last order cause, of course, it was their closing time. we ordered Paav bhaji, Triple shezwan rice, chole bhauture (it was chana puri) and Dal tadka with Jeera rice and garlic Naan.our order came one by one on the table. as I said, some items were really good, and some were average. Paav bhaaji was really good and so was dal tadka. I am a big fan of dal tadka. triple shezwan rice was okay, what I did not like was its chana puri. it was very blunt in taste and puri was kinda dry. the only item we left was chana puri.coming to other things- PORTION... come on, feed me at least. whether its dal, rice or triple shezwan rice. portion size was comparatively small. SERVICE- I have seen 6-7 servers who were sitting or wrapping up. by ordering so many items, there were so many finished plates at our table but neither our server nor anyone cleared that and we managed somehow. nobody filled the water bottle again. Service was really low for me, and guess what, after check, minimum tip % on their machine was 15%. that was not acceptable.PRICE- I can get same paav bhaji/chole bhature in $6-7 at hot Breads-Sukhadia ( they are equally good) so keeping price $10 for same, doesn't make sense. Overall okay if we ignore some mentioned things.

it shifted to lake Hiawatha recently [20 N Beverwyck Rd, Lake Hiawatha] and we decided to try this...we went there one fine evening. The owner did not seem really interested in welcoming us... he was busy with some other task. this restaurant is basically for taking out only and only 3 tables are there to dine in. its self-service, you won't even get proper cutlery. we got our food in a to-go box and we ate there. we ordered Chicken chili and mutton biryani. Chicken chili was good, but mutton biryani was horrible. we asked for water and girl at the counter was busy looking down at her mobile. it was hot inside but they did not even turn on the AC.Prices seem to be okay, not expensive. I guess, its good for only indo-Chinese items.

Authentic Indian Cuisine with Tandoori as a heart of the kitchen, as spices used sensually for tickling the taste buds.
Both fantastic and delicious at the same time. I like the food, the ambiance and the guys over there are very well-mannered and soft spoken. They play light bollywood too that adds to the overall experience. The food is always served hot. I like it's buffet section as well as a-la-carte (my favorite being chicken tandoori). Recommended.

First thing that I must stress is that the all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner buffet are much different. The vegetarian section is vast but delicious. The owner is friendly and the wait staff is professional. There are some meat options and I found the chicken tandoori and tikka to be very good. They do not rush you which is something else I appreciated. Note that there is no alcohol. Secondly, if you bring kids there is a kid's menu if they do not want the buffet, albeit rather small chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks and French fries. Thirdly, they do have take-out and the food appears to be authentic. Lastly, the restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside and tables are not crowded next to each other. Lastly, my opinion is that Spice is a quality Indian restaurant which services delicious Indian cuisine at reasonable prices.

Chand Palace specializes in vegetarian Indian cuisine. They offer a lunch ($9.99), as well as, a dinner($20) buffet. The restaurant is not that large and the seating is tight. Lunch is served from11:30 till 2:15 which is odd. Lunch at 12 pm and dinner on the weekends can draw sizable crowds. Not being of Indian descent, I can not speak to the authenticity of the food nor the preparation but what I can say is that I enjoyed my meal. It's BYOB but I did not bring any alcohol with me. I asked if there was a corking or service fee and the answer I received was no. The Naan was $3.75 and it was hot and fresh/ The Sada Dosai (a crepe with rice and lentil was $7.95. I like lentil and eat them often. The lentils in this crepe were in the Goldilocks zone, not to hard and not to soft. The mango shake ($3.95) could of had a stronger mango flavor to my liking, The Kheer ($3.50) rice pudding with almonds and pistachios was wonderful. I'm looking forward to trying one of their buffets.

Visited this restaurant at the recommendation of fellow Trip Advisor reviews! Everyone tried a different curry and I was surprised that each and ever dish had a beautifully distinctive flavor. Each bowl of curry had a unique bouquet of herbs and spices. The menu is so vast with many different Curryâs and Dosa and even fusion Asian cuisine which we did not try.I was very thankful that their menus had a brief description of each dish. Many Indian restaurants donât and I hate not knowing exactly what I ordered. This was a full service restaurant, the ambience was pleasant and the service was good. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food served.I enjoyed a bowl of Karaikudi Goat curry and it was delicious. The chunks of goat were tender and cooked to perfection. Another family member Aachari Chicken, a chicken and pickle flavored dish that had a beautifully citrus like pickle flavor. Bursting with lots of flavor enough to pucker your lips but eaten with the rice it is perfect. My daughter ordered Lamb Tikki Masala Curry. That was the mildest of the curry dishes. I had a mild but very deeply rich flavor. We had various flavor Dosas and the chutney was delicious. We ordered a few appetizers but I think next time I visit I would rather order another flavor Dosa. The mango Lassi is was smooth and the yogurt tang was perfect and refreshing.I recommend this restaurant if you are tired of the usual Indian buffets and similar tasting curry. Everyone in my family came away saying that their tastebuds were surprised in the wide range of great flavors they enjoyed tonight!

We visited Bollywood Grill about a month back. The menu is interesting and you have burritos and sandwiches made in Indian flavors and style. We liked the ambience of the place too.. You might have second thoughts before entering as it looks dark and secluded from outside but inside is pretty nice. I would go back to order Indian style burritos and even the chicken sandwich.
