We are very disappointed at this restaurant. The curry here has to rank as one of the worst I've ever experienced.The curry tastes like it came out of a jar, bland and flavourless. The onion Bhajis were like huge balls of inedible, moist dust, the poppadoms were rubbery and the naan breads were as flat as pancakes, had the consistency of cardboard and tasted much the same.Our starters were substandard, the Prawn Puree tasted of mango chutney which its not supposed to do and the less said about the Tandoori Prawns the better.If you love a good Indian meal then look elsewhere as you're not going to get a good curry here.Avoid

The four of us had dinner one evening as we were staying around the corner.The place was very busy but the waiter found us a table outside at the front. Staff were very quick and helpful.Two of us had the daily special at 8.95, which consisted of 3 courses plus a drink; great value.All of the food was very good and tasted fresh. Very hard to fault this place. Worth a visit.

Fantastic Indian food. The menu choices were great, the lamb was tender and flavours of the sauces was great. I can honestly say it was a great meal. Not cheapest but worth it.

Can't get enough of this excellent resaurant, in 15years we have not found better. The food is always of the very highest standard, cooked to perfection and flavoured to order.It is a family run concern, with Mum and Dad cooking, the two sons provide smashing service and are always pleasant and cheerful.As we live only a couple of minutes walk away, my wife has trouble getting me to go anywhere else for a meal.I would strongly recommend a visit and have never heard a negative comment from anyone.Simply The Best!

We ate at this restaurant in April 2019 and had been there several times a couple of years ago when it was relatively newly established. There was a pretty big difference in the menu from that time, unfortunately to the worse. The finesse was gone, and many of the dishes were served with french fries, and unfortunately looked more like what one gets served at the other less good resturants in the area. The service, on the other hand, was as good as before! We had hoped that this place had kept its finesse and style, but unfortunately it seems that this is not the case.

Went with my parents and the family. Service was fab, I had a tandoori mixed grill that was really tasty. Everything about it was spot on. Hope to try one of their Thai curries before we go home. We sat looking out over the beach and sea, well worth a visit if youâre in the area.The lollies and shots went down well at the end.

Went here for lunch. The restaurant is located right on the seafront overlooking the beach. We fancied something spicy so ordered the mixed grill with a couple of roti and some chips to share. Before the food was served complimentary popadoms and pickle arrived, v. Tasty. The food arrived on a sizzler and was really tasty and quite a decent portion. You can have it made as hot as you like , we had it spicy but that was just right. Service was great and the bill including a large beer and cocktail was only 25e with a free scoop of ice cream and shot thrown in. Well worth a visit and next time Iâm in la Mata I will go back
