Koggala is a small coastal town, situated at the edge of alagoon on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in Galle District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. Koggala is bounded on one side by a reef, and on the other by a large lake, Koggala Lake, into which the numerous tributaries of the Koggala Oya drain. It is approximately 139 kilometres (86 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 3 metres (9.8 ft) above the sea level.

Great to have some authentic Indian curry in Sri Lanka! The Indian owner was so friendly, gave us some complimentary poppadoms while we checked out the menu. Lovely surroundings, very trendy and nice Indian feel. Food was delicious and all served in lovely attractive Indian bowls. We had Goan fish curry, Mumbai Chicken curry, basmati rice, tempered potato (loved this) and daal. We were very well looked after and made to feel so comfortable. A must try. Wish we had had more time to go back again.

This is a place where you get a lot of taste for minimum money. What a contrast to overpriced seaside restaurants! The place looks quite local :) but the food is delicious and portions are huge plus itâs unbeliavable cheap. Many locals stop by for take away, that says a lot...

Excellent vehetarian food. The sign stated that they were ânot fast foodâ meaning everything was prepared after you arrived. There were only a couple of tables occupied when we first arrived so the food did not take long. It was delicious!! We had to go back the next day we enjoyed it so much.

Great find! Lovely beach location, lovely family run place. Thoroughly recommend. Family run place, gorgeous food, freshly made, loved the coconut rotisserie. Watched the sunset with a cold beer - perfect!

Good location on the beach. Quite tables set on the sand under thatched canopies. Beer good value. Sandwiches were ok,calamari probably frozen and a bit tough . However still went twice as best bar we found locally away from main hotels
