I love this place the more I visit it. It has come a long way since the last time I visited this place. The lunch Buffet menu has got a considerable makeover. There are fruits and salads added and the dessert is really good. I had a problem with the dessert, it was tasting awful so I requested the lady, i think she is the owner of the place, to change it. Most of the people would deny the fact but she apologized for the inconvenience and changed that for me. Which i thought was a very good gesture.

We got there just after 7PM. The restaurant is located in a food court that locks at 7 (though the restaurant itself is open), so we called, and they let us in. We had a Mysore Masala Dosa and Chai. Both were very good. They accidentally added sugar in our Chai and kindly gave us a bottle of water to make up for it :)

Traditional Indian dishes, tandoori fare & a Sunday dinner buffet served in a relaxed setting. A place where you can have great conversations with best views in town.
Excellent food with a spectacular view of Kamloops. It was a clear evening and one of foothills to the east of town was on fire, a nice visual representation of the spice in my Palak Chicken. An huge group of Indian youth came in to eat and watch the CFL game, an important endorsement, I submit, for the restaurant's authenticity. The wait staff was polite and efficient.Tucked away in the back of a motel complex without the benefit of great signage, Nandi's is a bit tricky to find--and GPS broke down in my experience--but the discovery is well worth the persistence. And even if you're luke warm on Indian Food, the chance to see how a Raj might have dined, high above the City Centre, is not to be missed!

Authentic Indian & Nepalese Cuisine
My husband and I have been frequenting Kohinoor since it opened. The food is consistently top-notch - scrumptiously spiced, cooked to perfection, served in gorgeous dishes, hot and fresh. The staff are friendly, welcoming, kind, quick, and willing to enhance your visit in any way they can. The view is unparalleled in Kamloops; go at sunset, and watch the mountains glow as you enjoy your wonderful meal. The menu includes both East Indian and Nepalese dishes - try the momos, Nepalese dumplings. They're out of this world. The Sunday buffet is always a great bet, but a la carte ordering provides the finest sampling of what this great restaurant has to offer.
