I had a hankering for good Indian food in the Jessup Maryland area and searched Trip Advisor. This gem came up so I decided to order take out - I could not be more pleased. Fast online delivery and an extensive menu. I ordered the Meat Samosas - generous sized portions (2) of deep fried pastry filled with mildly spiced lamb and peas. The Chicken Makahni was a very rich and tasty cream sauce with a mild spice and heat and bite sized pieces of chicken. The garlic naan was a delicate oven baked bread brushed with buttery garlic. All items were the perfect temperature when I returned to my hotel room to eat - 10 minutes away. Staff was very welcoming and quick to provide my order. I'll definitely return when I'm back in this area.

Spice n Curry is a very small Indian restaurant in, of all places, Elkridge, MD. Sparse decor, but that is not any indication of their food or service, both of which are excellent. Service is especially good, but it takes awhile to get the food - it is not a fast food place and it is worth the wait. Portions are generous.I am no Indian food expert, but all I can tell you is that both me and my wife have enjoyed both of our recent visits. I have had each of their luncheon and weekend special Thali dishes. Myself once with meat and once vegetarian - both excellent. My wife has had a goat dish and the meat Thai and she rates them both excellent.Their Madras coffee is very good - milky and comforting. Also their mango lassi is very good - much more thick than others we have had, and very sweet, but really very good. My wife and I have eaten in Indian restaurants in London, Paris, Scotland and the U.S. and while each one of them is somewhat different, we love Indian cuisine and Spice n Curry easily holds its own - in our opinion. While "Spicy" is part of its name, the hot part of spicy is, I would say, muted. I am positive that, if you want a more spicy meal, they would accommodate you. And, they do have a Vindaloo item on the menu. This is not a 4-star experience, so if you are looking for that, go to New York or London or Paris and pay 10 times as much. It is simply an excellent place to eat - food, price and service combined.I have to add a qualifying comment - I only rated the food 4 stars for one reason. If Trip Advisor had 1/2 star steps, I would have rated it 4 1/2 stars. We have eaten in some thrillingly wonderful places in our travels and my rating has to take into consideration those places. If this were the only Indian restaurant at which I had had the pleasure of eating, I would have rated the food 5 stars. Having said that, I have been strikingly surprised that this tiny, few-employee, simple restaurant, located in a strip mall across from a Costco and behind a 7-Eleven, is so pleasing and tasty. I hesitate to recommend it this highly, solely for selfish reasons -- I want to be able to get in to eat whenever we are in the area, rather than be turned away because its clientele grows too large.Closed Mondays; other days, 11:30am-2:30pm and 5:30pm-9:30pm. Phone 443-661-4068. 6590 Old Waterloo Rd., Elkridge, MD 21075

Authentic Indian Cuisine -Light, Healthy & Delicious. Open EVERYDAY for Lunch & Dinner
There are several Indian restaurants in Columbia, and Mango Grove is up there with the better ones. Their buffet offers unique choices you don't find at the other Indian places. There were cold and hot and spicy and milder options. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. If you enjoy Indian food, Mango Grove is worth a visit.

I love Indian food. Iâve eaten at all the major Indian food restaurants in the area. Of course, Royal Taj is the best in town. I also prefer Chutney, which is practically right next-door.Service wasnât the most friendly, and was kind of slow. Food was great, and better than a lot of other places, but not as good as the other places mentioned previously both in flavor and quality. The inside is nice enough and clean but not as nice and some of the others in the area. There is a nice selection on the buffet and Iâve never had to wait for a table. The two times I went it was a nice meal but Iâd probably just go to Chutney if in the area and wanting Indian.

I ordered chicken tikka masala medium spicy and peshwari naan for carry out. It took about 30 minutes and was worth the wait. The chicken tikka Malala was really quite spicy and was a large portion, and it came with rice. The naan was very good and was filled with raisins and sweet spice. I definitely want to try their lunch buffet.

The newest Indian restaurant in Howard County.
Lunch buffet has good assortment including goat curry. Tasty but watch out for the small bones. Several vegetarian and chicken dishes and cloth table linens are a nice uptick. Loved the yogurt sauce and dessert.

My wife picked this restaurant for her special birthday dinner. On arrival I mentioned it was her birthday and asked for a quiet table and I was given many choices. Dinner food and service was beyond exceptional and this restaurant is gorgeous. When we asked for the bill my wife was surprised to receive a wonderful piece of cake and a glass of bubbly for her birthday free. I would recommend this restaurant as one of the best I have ever been to because of the food quality and the level of service.
