So pleased to find a good Indian restaurant which we can enjoy as a family. Our kids (6 and 4yrs) love eating here, choosing from the childrenâs menu. Delicious food, super friendly staff and kids eat free before 7pm. Whatâs not to love!? Itâs our go to take away too! I have ordered from here on a couple of occasions and glad I waited to write a review.Iâll start with food..the food is overall fairly good but I have noticed a steady decline in more sauce and less protein content. The nan breads are very rubbery and burnt taste on the edges. The popadoms have been coming broken into pieces and at 75p each I donât expect shards all over the place. So in conclusion once again a good takeaway has become steadily poor in standards.NOW....Delivery and this is what got me to write a review...I waited an hour for delivery to be greeted by a gentleman who had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, thought nothing of his hygiene but when I closed the door the overwhelming smell of stale smoke all over my containers shook me to the core. Iâm a non smoker so I donât expect a £32 meal to smell like a overused 80âs working mans club ashtray. Iâm appalled that the delivery driver felt the need to smoke in his car with the windows closed to cause this stench. This fact alone has made me avoid using them again and I wonât be recommending them.

I joined a large group here and we had a really enjoyable evening. Service was friendly and not rushed and menu was interesting, food nicely served and really tasty. There's another indian in HW but this is a good option too.

I've had a takeaway a number of times from Cove Tandoori but my latest one has been, by far the best one I've ever had. That also includes a Michelin star curry house in Cardiff! The food was piping hot, tasted amazing and really made me want to order another one...Onion bhajis were crispy, Chicken tikka makhani was delicious and the naan was light. I'm very much looking forward to having another!

7 of us visited on Wednesday evening. It was busy but we had booked prior. Ambience excellent owners of restaurant very hands on and helpful in suggesting dishes. Portion size good. Food took a while to arrive but totally worth it! Highly recommend. Masala chai at end was icing on the cakeThank you so much

Heard some good things about this restaurant so thought we would give it a try. Went for lunch which was very good. The food was prepared freshly for each meal and cooked to order. They were attentive to dietary needs and as my daughter is Vegan made an extra special effort. One of the dishes was described as veggie but they made it vegan for her. The cost was good too, we will certainly be back. Only thing for us was that some of the dishes had unusual names which we had not heard of.Thank you for your positive feedback. Our restaurant team always helpful to all our Guests to accommodate their dietary needs. Our chefs take pride to come to the table to explain the dishes.We know that it is bit difficult to understand the names of our dishes, but those are the authentic names of the dishes from India. What a gorgeous restaurant. The food is excellent with fabulous friendly service a real gem! Restaurants like these are few and far between. The balance of good atmosphere and fabulous attentive service is spot on. Everyone is incredibly friendly and willing to help with suggestions for a different choice than your normal go to! Food is consistently good not to say excellent, we have always a good meal and all our family enjoy the place. Personally I find the restaurant with its blue hues cold but this does not interfere with the food enjoyment. The dishes are well presented like in a Top London restaurant without the price of London.

Arrived just before 8pm and the restaurant was full. Always a good sign.Food was excellent and arrived at a good speed.Service was good, except one guy serving couldnât seem to speak or understand English. He seemed to be Eastern European. This made things at times tricky!However, would definitely return and highly recommend.
