Despite its unassuming name and location this a lovely restaurant. Excellent home style southern Indian cooking. Seems to be family run and the service is helpful and friendly. A particular highlight was the dosa masaala. Very reasonable price.

As I was leaving the WC, a member of staff was holding the kitchen door open and I looked into the filthy kitchen, the owner was cooking and spilt a tub of marinated meat on the floor and just scooped it back into the tub and added some to the pan he was cooking with. Thankfully, I hadn't yet ordered and walked straight out and would never consider going back.

We have tried many curry houses, even travelling to Birmingham, which has a reputation for the best curry in the UK, but The Ghandi Gravesend is the best one by far! Wonderful flavour and completely fresh every time. Highly recommend this place to anybody looking to try an alternative to your regular takeaway providers.Dear CoeN0Many many thanks for taking the time to write such an amazing review for Gandhi! We appreciate the kind words you have written; we are so pleased to read that you find our restaurant to be one of the best, even compared to Birmingham! Surely you have great taste! Thank you every so much for recommending us, we hope to see you againBest regards

Didnât really want to go here as last time wasnât great but friends had booked, they still managed to disappoint again. Service was very slow. Got drinks ordered wrong. Then food took an hour to arrive (even though they were not that busy) most of the food was cold, hot plates were cold, plates were cold, food was cold and not very tasty, naan bread was literally dough where not cooked. Expensive for a very poor meal, felt totally ripped off. Will not make the same mistake again!

The best Indian Resturant in Gravesend. Run by Indian family. Visit with 10 family members. Manager welcomed whole heartily. Offer us the seat. Took drink order himself. The food order came in good time. The mixed kebab grills served with masala chips. Very tasty. Chaats and mixed pakora were also good. The main dishes were freshly prepared. Butter chicken. Lamb chops makhni dal biryanis. The mixed nana. Garlic, butter and plain naans were good and fresh. The Chef came to ask for any more suggestions for good. The sweet and ice cream were good. The last thing paying the bill. It was less than our expected figure. Everyone enjoyed the food. Will recommend to anyone.
