Limited parking space. Restaurant clean and gives an old india feeling. Food was good, but nothing special. Staff was good. Apparently they do not take card for payment. Pricing is on the upper level: 1 curry around Rs 400, 1 naan Rs 50, 1 cocktail Rs 200. One recommendation to the manager: please do not switch off the lights in the whole restaurant when you are bringing a birthday cake for somebody, as I could not see my food for 45 seconds while people were singing.

Indian and Mauritian curries, tandoori, kebabs, naan, rice dishes and platters
We had a delicious meal, trying different dishes between the six of us, with something to suit every taste - including something for children. The music was lively with a friendly island atmosphere - ideal for our holiday mood. Lorenzo is passionate about his restaurant and the service was superb. We had a memorable evening.

A great ethnic Indian restaurant esteemed by the well healed local population. Good food, attentive service and reasonably priced. (mutton)
Brilliant atmosphere, amazing servers. The staff is very friendly and gives you the right advice on food. They know when to give you space also...The fish and mutton curry were mouth watering. All Indian staff makes it really authentic. No loud music, so we can hear each other out well. They have good options for vegetarians also..infact kadhi pakoda won over chicken last night!

This restaurant was a real delight during our stay on Mauritius! After trying bunch of restaurants in Grand Baie, we decided to try this one, because it was walking distance from Toparadis hotel where we stayed. And we had a great experience! The food was super tasty and fresh! Staff is really nice, friendly and we had a really nice chat with them each time we visited. This is a family run restaurant and this just adds up to the experience. Also, after trying bunch of different restaurants around we came to the conclusion the the food here was so much better and cheaper at the same time.So for us it was the best value we could get. Menu is big and offers different kinds of cuisines, local, indian, grill. I have tried bunch of different dishes and each was super tasty.Location is great, and has a parking lot, so you can easily drive up here and have a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere. We wish all the best to the owners, you guys made each of our visits a delight.

Iâve been coming here for 25 years every time I visit the island and Chez Ram never disappoints. The fresh caught, grilled Lobster here is simply the best Iâve ever tasted ... ANYWHERE.This place deserves a Michelin star for its simple yet exquisite cuisine. Crab Gratin is another exceptional dish and the Salade dâOurite (octopus salad) is âsensationelleâ.Thank you family Coolen for your insatiable desire to deliver the best fresh food in the region. You are the best!!
