Usually visit restaurants but decided on a takeaway for a change. What a find! The first pleasant surprise was they accept online orders for delivery. Some specialities I hadn't even heard of but decided to try a Murghi Sallom. What a delight! Large portion size with an exquisite taste. After the order had been accepted a delivery time was stipulated and the food arrived well within the timeframe. Will I order from there again? You bet I will!
Where to eat Asian food in Glossop: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I tried this new curry house at weekend, I learned it was the same people who had the Commercial pub curry house ( which I never went to ) Anyway the waiting room is dirty esp for a new venture and walls are barren. The food is standard with a few new to me specials. I tried the Lava curry with a side of onion bhaji and 2 puri. The cost was over £12 which to be frank for a takeaway I collected was very expensive. They threw in some free poppadoms and chutney which was nice. All in all the food was decent enough ( the lava was very sweet though ). The little kid behind the counter was good to talk to and promoting well but unless they take 25% off the costs then I will not be returning.

We visited recently for the first time. The restaurant was very busy and, with dreadful acoustics, very noisy. We struggled to hear each other speak! The service was average but they were very busy. Overall the food was very bland and I was disappointed and won't be returning.

i stayed at the Queens arms for a night and was delighted to hear the first floor was an indian restaurant. As it was raining and near at hand I gave it a go and was delighted that I did. Although not licensed the pub was down stairs and the food was exceptional and very good value.
