Dibrugarh (pron: ˌdɪbru:ˈgɑ:) is a city and is the headquarters of the Dibrugarh district in the state of Assam in India. Well known as the Tea City of India, Dibrugarh is considered to be a major city in eastern India in line with Guwahati and Bhubaneswar and is the emerging communication and industrial hub of North East India. Dibrugarh is also one of the two main cities in the state of Assam to receive urban development aid from the Asian Development Bank and is the nerve centre of industry, communication and healthcare of the upper Assam region. Dibrugarh is located 439 km (273 miles) east of Guwahati, the largest city of the Indian state of Assam. Dibrugarh is well connected to the rest of India by rail, road and air transport and thus serves as a gateway to eastern Assam and also parts of Arunachal Pradesh. Moreover, there has also been a consistent demand, particularly from the industrial sectors, for starting international flights from Dibrugarh to Bangkok and Singapore. Mega projects like Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, India's longest rail cum road bridge Bogibeel bridge and other upcoming modern urban infrastructure are transforming Dibrugarh into a vibrant city. Of late, the city of Dibrugarh is emerging as a popular destination for business and leisure trips for tourists from India and abroad and the 9th edition of the North East Business Summit was held in the city with the theme "Building bridges with South East Asia", where representatives from South East Asian nations and business leaders of the country pledged to contribute substantially for the socio-economic growth of the North East. Dibrugarh is also a centre of education and research and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) organized the 18th National Space Science Symposium in the city in January–February, 2014. The city Master Plan area of Dibrugarh is 66.14 sq. kilometres and population is 186,214.

Had the Assamese thali here and it’s was lovely. We also ordered boriyola fish and khorissa chicken (chicken cooked in bamboo shoot) with it. The khorissa chicken was not very authentic but the fish was good. I wold recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic and hearty Assamese meal.

It's the best bakery of course with variety of eatables. Their pastries are too good and very famous. The rates are slightly costlier however manageable. They have a lovely menu for burgers pizza pasta omelettes and sandwiches.The ambience is good too and people are hospitable. It's a must visit place I'm Dibrugarh with friends.

Unlike Guwahati other towns and places dont have the luxury to hoist a KFC chain of restaurant, the opening of MFC or Mister fried chicken chain of restaurents had ended that draught and provided that crispy delicious fried chicken and burgers at a reasonable prices unlike KFC which is slightly on higher side of price. good food, tasty cooks also nice ambiencetry chicken selection you can have a big piece of chicken less than a dollar

The food is good without any doubt, but very oily, please do not visit if you are heath conscious. Before ordering please decide how much to order as the quantity is very heavy. If you are a normal eater, please order for Quarter or Half plate, as 1 full plate maybe too much and un-necessary waste of food and money. This restaurant does not have a Bar.Thank you for your review. We will surely look into the oily part and hope you find it perfect next time.

Moto Mahal Delux chain has started from Delhi.....more than 2000Km from this place.....yet all the taste & flavour here are true & welcome copies.A small place has been beautifully designed for about 30 people.CAUTION:Lift operates from Mezannine & Restaurant is at 1st floor. Difficult for those with physical challenges.Air conditioning & Service with smile are also USPs hereIt is inside Hotel Rajwas and some narrow lane entrance is encountered

Whenever I go to a restaurant I keep few things in mind - cleanliness & hygiene, staff behaviour, freshness of food. And this is one of the few places in Dibrugarh which gets full marks in all. The menu has a lot of options to choose from. For all tastebuds and all age groups. U can spend sometime here just pondering or reading a book. Do visit.
