One of the first things that one notices about this resort is its curtious and humble staff ( from the front desk manager to the old man who would ward off monkeys using his catapult, while we enjoy the facilities)and spic and span surroundings even though one is right in the middle of a jungle. extremely clean and well mantained cottages. All the meals are an elaborate affair with a wide variety to choose from. My kid freaked out at the adventure zone and so did my husband. Both of them had a fab time. My appreciation also goes out to the lady who used to sit with the kids all afternoon helping them to create something like a golden tree or a paper bag.A special mention for Dinesh who conducts games in the evenings for kids as well as adults and also takes all the necessary precautions when the kids are indulging in all the adventure activities. All in all it has been one of our best experiences ever.Dear Sir,Greetings from Nature Resorts!!!We thank you for visiting Kurumba Village Resort for your holidays in the Nilgiris . Your feedback is important to us in our endeavour to continuously improve our food quality and service standards. We are very happy that you enjoyed our elaborate buffet spread and services. We sincerely look forward to your many more visits in the future. Thanking you and assuring you of our best services at all times. warm regardsNature Resorts Team

We visited this hotel for lunch. We went because driver had suggested this place. But our family members were disappointed. The Menu was very limited and even the items in menu were not available. The taste of the food was below par. Biriyani was like some variety rice. They did not have soft drinks. Overall it was a very poor experience. I would not recommend this restaurant especially for South Indians.

Interesting varieties of dishes with some innovations creations make it an attractive option in Coonoor. The restaurant is quite small and perpetually overcrowded indicating its popupalarity. Cheese kebabs and Cheese dosas are good innovations. The staff are quite competent in handling the crowded situations. The variety rices and the traditional South Indian Thali are all well prepared. Prices look like a steal. Good, or rather very good option in Coonoor.

A good multicuisine restaurant in Coonoor
Sitting there right now!!! saw descent reviews and headed there with family of 141 hr 10 mins done.. Veg main course dishes haven't come yet.. Non veg came exactly after an hr..To start with waived at the person taking order within 2-3 mins after we placed our order.. 5 mins done he din come.. Walked upto him and ordered myself just to hear that we aren't taking soup orders..When I asked why he din come His exact statement " how much can one person do"So management is you are reading this please note u are grossly understaffed.. And the staffs that you have as well seem very inexperienced.. They don't know what they are getting to tables and half the time they have taken it to other tables..No spoons or plates provided.. Absolutely no sync between staffs..It's just crazy.. After spending so long in traffic this is the last thing we needed.. PS.. GOT FOOD NOWFood is OK.. So not sure what was the wait about..And their buffet is Never refilled.. They stop the buffet as the dish gets over.. Damn din know missing the buffet would e such a huge mistake.. Terrible experience..

Usually, for restaurants in Coonoor one is directed to cross the railway tracks and go towards Bedford. This restaurant is right near Railway gate and less visible due to road winding upwards (towards Tulsi Mall). Excellent non veg dishes and beverages. Table service, neat and clean. Nominal pricing. Courteous service. Beautiful views of main road, Railway Station, Bus stand etc through glass panelled dining hall windows.

We visited Kotagiri and planned a small visit to Conoor. La Belle had good review so decided to go for lunch there. It is a very scenic location. We ordered Meen curry with raw mangoes. It tasted out of the world with steamed rice. For starters we ordered Tempura Prawns, the coating was not well fried, but the size of the prawns was good. The dip served alongside was very interesting tangy and with red chilies, should try it. The sweet dish n apple pie with cream was a let down. It had over powering taste of cinnamon and this ended the lunch with a bad taste. The pie was very dry and we were told we will get icecream but came with cream which did not go wellOverall experience Ambience - Excellent Service - goodFood - good Price - expensive.

Tea Nest and Tea Nest Annexe are mid- budget home styles boutique stays. Tea Nest has about 7 rooms and Annexe has 2.We stayed for a night in Tea Nest in Hibiscus room and three. Nights in Annexe. Both properties function similarly and what will stand out is hospitality, personalised service, privacy and the forever smiling staff so eager to be of use. Location of these properties is also a highlight. Go for morning and evening walks and you sure will spot a herd of bisons and we spotted a pair of bears too. Bird life is rich as is flora. Nature in abundance and a stream flowing by that you can hear but not see. The play of monkeys for morning cheer and endless cups of tea. This is a place to unwind and letâs itâs natural pace take over. Compliments to the staff of both Tea Nest and Annexe. We were served so well that for sure Iâll visit again. If in Coonoor, stay no where else!
