We went on a Saturday evening and parking the car, enjoy the view! The restaurant was lively and chatty, a good sign. The ordering/bar area was a comfy place to sit and peruse the menu. Food was good, slightly limited choice but everything was well cooked and very tasty. Wine list pretty good and reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and attentive. Owner was very nice too! Look forward to going back soon.Dear pointsslaveThank you so much for taking the time out to leave a review for Four Elephants. Weâre so pleased to know that you had such a wonderful experience with ourselves and appreciated the atmosphere and food! We work really hard to provide a friendly and welcoming service and itâs great to see that this reflected on your last visit. We look forward to having you againBest regards

Great 3 courses each at a sensible price. Loads of choices. Pleasant service will visit again.Only criticism was lack of table space.

What can I say without being offensive, I found it very run of the mill. If I don't eat from my regular takeaway in Brierfield, I will always order a Lamb Madras, as its the dish anyone can get right. I ordered chips with it and drove home. When I got home 5 mins later the chips were cold and had definitely been refried, And the Madras was very ordinary and not a lot of lamb in there. If I had been out on the ale and was starving it would have gone down and not noticed. But being sober and had been without food all day due to a busy day in work I was really looking forward to it. So I was a tad disappointed.

Been a few times and eaten from both the Indian and pizza menus. The shop always looks clean and the food prepared in very good time, even had a phone call to tell us it was ready when we were collecting. The food is very good quality and tasty for a local take away and I would highly recommend!
