We ate in a lot of Indian Restaurants all over New Zealand, but Ferry Indians was definitely not among the good ones. First of all, the toilets are outside of the restaurant in a business building, shared with another restaurant and quite dirty. In the restaurant they used incense sticks, so the whole room and our clothes smelled like that. The food - both of us had curries - did not have a real good and authentic taste. But one good thing: the waiter was nice and friendly.

Fine Dining
Interesting decor with the ultimate name dropping photos of the staff/boss? meeting Prince William and the Dalia Lama. I had chicken tikka for a starter which was both delicious and huge. My main was a Rogan Josh which was good but not special. The service was prompt and the price reasonable.

This is the best Indian in Christchurch. We have been a number of times for dinner and the food and service is always exceptional. The staff are always smiling and friendly and I don't hesitate to recommend them. The only issue is what to choose to eat because it is all delicious and there is a great selection.

The service here was fantastic - friendly and attentive. All of our food choices were excellent particularly the onion Bhaji and Garlic Naan. The chicken dish had the most tender chicken I have eaten. Every dish came out quickly. We will definitely returnThank you very much for your review, we would be glad to see you soon.

Called in for cheap and cheerful on friday night and found it very cold which didn't help the atmosphere for the few local clients. We enjoyed the Lamb Posht and Mango Chicken after the mixed platter entree. As it is BYO and in the Entertainment book, overall good value.

Went for a late lunch during our explore of the downtown . Staff were friendly and had good advice about the menu. Food was tasty. We had naan rolls with raita and then supplemented with the sampler.
