This is a new location in the heart of old Chamblee. Winter means the huge garage doors linking an outdoor patio were closed, making the dining room a long white rectangle with tables on two sides of an aisle. We enjoy ambience as much as the cuisine when we eat out and this little place needs a designers touch. The food was delicious! Naan, roti , lamb curry, and something yummy I canât remember. Big portions of entrees, enough for lunch the next day, expensive beer. The menu is just on copy paper and has no descriptions of entrees, so if youâre not a regular with Indian food, youâll have to google it or take your chances. If we come back, it will definitely be in warm weather!

The food is outstanding in this modest restaurant located alongside a very busy highway. We were the only patrons at lunch and I could not help thinking do people eating pizza and barbecue nearby know that real cuisine is within steps! We began with the samosa which was steaming and the interior filled with delicious diced vegetables. Next came DaL lentil soup with a lemon wedge again very hot and tasty. One in my party ordered the lunch lamb curry and I ordered the salmon curry. Both plates brimmed with rice and fried onion cake, and then the meats in brown curry sauce of medium spice along with various vegetables placed around the meats. We also had the garlic Naan which was chewy warm and loaded with garlic flavor. Service was ok but there were no other guests. The atmosphere is typical Indian restaurant but a bit dark and more cleaning would be better. I cannot wait to go back!
