Really happy to have a terrific Indian restaurant near us! Comfortable little place with friendly, efficient service. We played it straight with butter chicken and beef vindaloo, both excellent. The new samosa covered in chick pea mix entree was superb! We took a bottle of wine ($6 corkage) but a nice little wine list available. Modest $80 for two mains and entrees. Rice and butter naan included with mains. Highly recommended. Maybe 4 1/2 stars but I can walk there so....

Indian Palace is well known for high-quality food and service. When it comes to the World of tasty food, none could ever outclass us. The exceptional flavors of our menu will delight and inspire, as only the finest and freshest ingredients are used.
Just a few seconds from the train station this popular Indian restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The food is traditional Indian and the servings are generous and full of flavour. The drinks prices are slightly in the high side but you are in Brighton. The service though is the ratings winner here. Very attentive and courteous. They did get one order slightly mixed up (we got a plain naan, not the butter naan that we ordered) but we didnât feel the need to complain. It still tasted great. Judging from the crowds and the amount of Uber eats being picked up this is a good place to try out sometime.

The ambience and restaurant are beautiful and warm. The staff are the good balance of attentive & courteous without being overbearing. The prices are a little high but service is very good with food arriving quickly (although it was quiet when we arrived). There is a lovely glass exhibition of one of the cooks preparing food. We had chicken korma, lamb Rogen josh, mixed entree, naan bread and saffron rice. We had a nice white wine at $10 per glass. The food was cooked well however the sauces were bland. The korma had no fragrance and very little taste of anything. The Rogen Josh was again very very mixed in flavour. They have used chicken breast in the korma which has mulch less flavour than thigh and is much drier. The lamb was also very dry and the sauces have not soaked into the meats at all. My guess is the meats and sauces are cooked and kept separate until serving unlike traditional methods where the meat sits in the sauces low cooking and permeating the meat. This feels like they have simply poured the sauce on top of the meat. This way they can keep separate pots of mild, medium and hot sauce options with less chance of unserved meats. The consequence is plain food when Indian should be highly aromatic & concentrated in flavour.

We went to this restaurant last night, having been several times in the last 6 months. Our experience has always been good, the staff charming, comfy chairs and clean bathrooms. However last night was extremely disappointing. The waitress had little understanding of English. So the order had to be repeated several times. We started with a couple of entrees to share, then as usual we ordered the butter chicken. We have this as one of our mains every time. This was just awful, no flavor except a known brand of undiluted tomato soup. There was no spice, no herbs and no cream. In fact it was forgettable...but I can't forget. We mentioned our disappointment to a staff member who said the head chef had to return to India due to his fathers death. This is very sad, but actually not a good excuse, and not my problem. The kitchen should be able to carry on and work harder to make sure the rating is maintained. The reason we return to restaurants is because of consistency. Sadly inconsistency was more appropriate. I'm very sad about this because they have everything going for them.

We celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary at Roti Boti and couldn't have asked for a better evening. Our table service was 5 Star, with our waiters giving us a wonderful dining experience. The food was magnificent and the recommendations were spot on. Don't think about it, GO!!!!
