A first class (fish) curry, one of the tastiest this diner has enjoyed in some time: delicate flavours from a chef who clearly knows his trade. Another recommendation: the Malawi gin ... certainly worth a try. If youâre in Blantyre the Bombay Palace must be hard to beat.

Indian Chinese food served in a beautiful ambience. For foreigners free pick up and drop is provided from their hotel. We have bar service and kids play zone.
I have been three times to Sara. The food is consistently delicious, the buffet is interesting with a good selection of different plates, meats and veggies and the service in the evening is faster. At lunch time, the service drags on as it a la carte. The staff is helpful but it would be nicer if the time between placing an order and the time the food is brought to the table could be shortened. Last time, it took 50 minutes for the food to come. The chairs and benches are not very comfortable and when the food takes time to come one notice it even more. Anyway, worth a visit but be prepared to wait for your food.Thank you Ana Maria for your feed back and rating. The furnitures are restored for your comfortability.Kindly accept my apologies for a delay of 50 mins to serve your food. Do visit us again and enjoy a free dessert. PS : All the food are cooked authentically on order.
Aamari Restaurant
I was looking for a quiet place with great food to celebrate our anniversary, and my local friends recommended I try the Aamari Restaurant where we were staying. Except for breakfast, I do not generally eat in the hotel where we are staying. But this time I made an exception since it came highly recommended. While the restaurant was a bit oldish, I was wonderfully impressed with the excellent food and delightful staff. My T-bone steak was done perfectly medium rare and juicy, the way I like it while my husband who loves Indian curries cleaned out his plate, which speaks volume! Incidentally, my friends presented us with a bottle of wine to bring along with us as the restaurant do not serve alcohol, but allowed BYO. My thanks to the management and staff for the great evening experience on our anniversary.Dear Julie,The team appreciates your feedback and we will continue to deliver to our guests expectations. On behalf of my team, we look forward to seen you on your next travel to our Aamari restaurant .Best regardsUwe LohageMalawi Sun Hotel
