Discover Restaurants offering the best Indian food in Beijing, China. Welcome to a capital city whose story goes back at least 3000 years. In Beijing, you'll find a wealth of history, both ancient (the Hall of Preserving Harmony, Summer Palace, Forbidden City) and more recent (Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Tiananmen Square). For the best market experience, choose the Dirt Market over the touristy Silk Market. A visit to the Great Wall, the longest manmade structure in the world, is absolutely essential.

There are several options available for dinner buffet. Indian, Chinese, Western. I had an Indian-spiced lamb chop that was perfectly cooked. Nan was good. Lobster claws were tender but salty. Salads looked a little old. The desserts were not very good--at least to Western tastes. The ice cream was good (only 1 scoop of ice cream is offered--you must specifically ask for more). There are containers of orange juice, water, and milk tea (cold) available at the entrance. I don't know if alcohol is available. We couldn't track down anyone to ask. No one removed our dirty plates.Overall, disappointing. The restaurant tables, placemats, chairs could all stand a good scrubbing.Dear jillalex, thank you for taking time to write a comment for us. I would like to express my regret for the disappointment you experienced during your dinner in Cafe Cha. Food quality and service standards are of utmost importance to us as we continuously strive to improve our service levels. We will use this feedback constructively to ensure we are more vigilant monitoring this area. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to offer you a true Shangri-La experience. Thank you and best regards, Stephan Kapek, General Manager

This is a big space and attracted large crowd however they had a good system and kept it all under control. The variety of food/cuisine are plentiful- they have anything you could possibly imagine. E.g. lobster you get to choose boil or bbq. Oyster from New Zealand or France. They were quite good quality too. Upon arrival, you also get a sea urchin to share between 2. They also bring out their trolleys from time to time offering side table choices. Good concept how they mix it up. Not sure why offering pumpkin soup in apr and decorated in fallen leaves. Maybe more suitable for autumn? Full of expats but I can imagine why itâs a good place to go with your friends. Must go if you are into brunch.

We love Indian food and were surprised to find this place in Beijing. Everything we tried was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. For 5 people we ordered 2 appetizers and 3 main dishes and Naan. This proved to be plenty of food, so we were all very satisfied.
