Before sitting down asked what Vegan dishes they do . A few dishes very mentioned. Among that was a bebgan bharat which we ordered and were surprised when the curry was served with yogurt or cream in it. We compiled and the manager came and said we had not told them that we wanted Vegan? We did not think it necessary to mention as they has said it is Vegan dish. But that probably we can say a mis understanding but there was not effort to rectify it or offer to do something about it. The manager happy to take the money and not bothered if we had our meal or not. Not good service at all. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.Kindly visit us again and we will rectify the issue for you. Please make reservation and send an email to my email address [email protected] and i will personally look after you.Kind Regards,Anish Yohannan

Indian Curry House brings to Banff the most delectable tasting cuisine from the vast regions of India.
There were plenty of choices from the menu. Food was plentiful and so tasty. Freshly cooked and smelt divine. Breads were excellent as well. Staff were very friendly. Very well priced.

As a traveller, sometimes you operate on autopilot, you're tired and hungry and you see a familiar food chain, and you just go into the long line-up and wait and wait. I almost did that in Banff recently in the Cascade Plaza Food Court, lining up for some good Japanese food. But then I noticed the next-door outlet, Taste of Sri Lanka only had a couple of people, and so I bailed on the big line-up and went there. I'm so glad I did! Their food is REALLY tasty, lots of choices, and the people are very, very nice. Not to say the other outlets in the food court aren't, but this place is truly special. I had the butter chicken, noodles, a mixed veg, and a scoop of very very delicious egg plant. I was hungry, and the food was gone before I remembered to take a picture, that says something! YUM! So you get a two-for-one: excellent food, short line-up. Yay!

The restaurant has great dishes, hard working staff, amazing view and unique element in the condiments cart they bring out. However they were understaffed and we could never get out second roti. Waited 20 mins , food got cold and we got very frustrated. They took some appetizers off our bill but doesn't change our experience.
