The place is very attractive and the service was very good. We had lentil soup which was bland, veggie dumplings (momos) which were also bland but the accompanying sauce helped spice them up. For the main course we had the chicken biryani which contained an enormous amount of rice with a curry flavor. Even so, dare I say it, it was bland. I was expecting my senses to be overwhelmed with an array of exotic flavors but it didn't happen. The waiter didn't ask me to specify a spice level and so I didn't. Next time we come here I'll be sure address this issue. The prices were quite reasonable

What a surprise! With an appetite and an hour to kill we landed in their brightly painted dining room and took no time to order because EVERYTHING sounded delicious... And it was!The mango lassi I ordered, the lover drank (so we got another). We also got another dollop of the mint dressing for the pakoras, because it was so good and fragrant... At last the chicken polayko didn't disappoint. This is the first time I try this cuisine, and loved it. Similar spices than what you find in Indian cuisine, but cooked to order dishes as opposed to simmered ones, so the veggies keep lively and crunchy.Their lunch special looks fantastic too...The service was not the fastest, but since you feel right away like you are visiting friends, you won't even notice. If you want to further pursue your Himalayan inspiration Jewel Heart, the Tibetan Buddhist center, is 5 min down the same Oak Valley Dr.

Everything about our experience was upscale. When we arrived there was combo playing soft background music. The space is very modern and classy. The service was excellent, as was everything that we ate and drank. An example of the level of service: when I asked where the restroom was, the server (not ours) did not just point, but walked me part way there.

A friend and I dined there the night of U of M home game, parents weekend and Arlo Guthrie concert. Had reservations and got right in. She had a lemon chicken dish and I had the chicken tikka. Both dishes and appetizers were fabulous as was the service by Prasad. Everyone was so polite checking to make sure we enjoyed our meal and seeing if we wanted anything else. Have always had great meals here!Hello , Thank you very much for your great review, Review like this helps other guests to be confident for their dining options.Appreciated,Thank you,Sincerely,Sam

Divine tasting dishes that make you yearn for more but the drawback is the expense. My boyfriend and I each had a modest portion of food and the total cost for the two of us was $25.00 and we didn't even have a basket of naan bread or a beverage to go with the meal. Everything from the buffet is weighed by the pound and it adds up quickly so prepare to spend money. I'd eat here everyday because the food is sensational. Absolute fireworks to the mouth, excellent authentic Indian food with just the right amount of spices to put you into nirvana. I just wish the prices were a bit lower.
