I love an Indian meal and was not disappointed with this restaurant. It was busy but service was great and the menu choice excellent. Portion size was just right and the taste and flavour spot on. Next visit to Sydney and we will return!

In our recent trip, after sick of eating all continental food, thought we will treat ourselves to a good Indian place. This place was our pick. When we reached , we were nervous as many tables was empty on a Friday eve, but the food did not disappointThere were lot of veg options. We enjoyed the food. The service was good The price was affordable, but bit surprised they charge for pickles etcBut overall great experience

Nawaz Flavour Of India since 1990..Oldest Indian in glebe point road..
Coming from the UK, itâs been a real struggle to find good, comparable Indian food here in Sydney. However, I have to say the food here is fantastic, top marks to the chef. Iâve eaten here twice and really enjoyed both times equally as have those Iâve eaten with. The Naan breads are the best Iâve had.HOWEVER, Iâve noticed one or two other reviews mentioning about the pressure from waiting staff to order food, finish food and leave etc. Both times I felt eyes watching the table for the whole meal and questioned for my next course, my order and even eyes rolled when I asked for 2 more minutes before placing my order. Itâs a bit of a shame as other than this, I would literally be exclusive to this place for my Indian food but it just lets it down. I will certainly eat give it another chance but if it doesnât improve Iâll probably move on.Ps - both nights the restaurant was not full (less than half) and we were seated around 7pm. So no excuse for the rush. Thanks for your feedback.will talk to the wait staff regarding the issues..hope to see you again..

I took my sister and my brother in law from Malaysia to this simple unpretentious restaurant and they love it. Ashok and staff are very attentive. My sister and brother in law are very critical of indian food because we can have abundant restaurants to choose from in Malaysia. For them to give the thumbs up means Indian Kitchen is very good.

I am in Sydney for almost an year now. I have tried many restaurants. By far, the best north Indian food that I had was at Abhis. The restaurant has a decent ambience as well. High Chairs available for kids. I ordered palak chaat, Dal Makhni, Nans, Butter Chicken, Shahi Paneer, and Double ka maza. The food was well prepared and presented. will definitely go again.

This is indian food with a real difference. Subtle, delicious and beautiful to look at. Four of us thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the service was attentive and friendly too. We really enjoyed everything but stand outs were Maladosa, Kola Urundal Kolumb and Tai Pongal Kara Kol. For four of us and a bottle of wine the bill was $169.00

The restaurant is on the Liverpool Road in Burwood and getting parking can be a challenge. The food here is awesome and authentic Indian. We had the vegetable platter, assortment of breads, village special chicken curry and paneer kurchan. All of them were lip smacking good. The ambiance is ok but not fine dining. The service is very friendly and prompt.
