Restaurant with Italian cusine
The business card says Italian restaurant, but this is not fully accurate. Of course they have pizza and pasta but also a lot of International dishes. This is the favorite hangout place from the western visitors in Zhanhjiagang, most of them stay in the Guo Mao Hotel, just 200 m away. There is a pool table as well. The interior reminds me of a bavarian beer stube. Speaking of beer, there is a nice selection of beer (Germany, Belgium) and have 2 beers on tap. The waiters are top and speak good English. The place is ran by Wei, a real pro. She is doing an excellent job. The only downside is that you may be sitting next to a table with smoker(s), unfortunately smoking is still allowed in public places in China

After Reading the somewhat negative reviews in Tripadvisor, I was a little apprehensive to visit this restaurant. Clearly not all experiences in this establishment had been good. Nevertheless, I decided to go ahead and decided to see for myself. From the outside it looks small, but inside it is actually rather large. The entrance is cozy and so is the ambience. When we arrived at 19:15 at least 50% of the tables was occupied (more than I had expected). The menu is not particularly "extensive" but has interesting choices that you do not come across every day in China. There is a variety of choices for meat, chicken and fish - with at least 4 choices for each one. I opted for the mushroom ragout (soup) while my friends had smoked salmon salad, fresh oyster (only one @ RMB 50, was a bit pricey), and a smoked chicken salad. The main course was veal & ham cutlet, chicken stuffed with spinach, pizza and grilled tuna. All dishes were rated good except the pizza which was rated as "average".
Agreed that - compared to other "local" restaurants" - the prices are relatively high. One can expect to spend anywhere between RMB 170-270 per person for a meal (starter, main dish and a drink)
The wait staff spoke English and menu is presented in English/ Chinese language.
Part of the restaurant is a small, cozy lounge, where one can take a quiet drink with relaxing music in the background - perhaps after dinner.
To summarize, in our experience this will be a restaurant that we will visit again.

張家港にきて、ステーキを食べると思わなかった。会社の同僚に進められたままでいった。意外に最高に美味しかった。肉が柔らかくて、和牛と遜色なし。他のサイドメニューについては、普通。

The address listed is incorrect. It is closer to the center of town, South of Mambat. Quiet environment, good coffee, very comfortable.

Good place to hang out after work. Great outdoor Seating and location for people watching. The pub is pet friendly and has a little potted plant garden, cosy pub feel and of course the owners Echo, Rachel and pets Olaf (dog), Louis (big cat) and Zozo (little kitty) make the place really homey. Attracts locals and foreigners alike in a balanced, comfortable crowd.

Italian Deli Wine Bar Gelato and Coffee. Second Branch of Mandi Mandi opened in Zhangjiagang is offering a italian cusine with a twist of Friuli taste. Good selection of Italian Wines, Italian Craft Beers and Grappa. And last but not least Home made gelato.
I have been to Mandi Mandi many times on different occasions: for business, with friends, for romantic dinner, with families with kids, and I was never dissapointed. They have good size menu, where everyone can choose something to taste: appetizers, salads, panini, pasta, pizza, beef, mains, gelatto, plus all wines and cocktails. The place is owned by two Italians and they make sure the place provide consistently delicious food and services.
Time after time MandiMandi organizes BBQs, life music parties, DJ parties, birthday parties and corporate events...I attended most of them and it is always fun.
I highly recommend this Italian gem for business, as well as pleasure.
