If you need a sweet summer treat or a quick bite (hotdogs etc) The Captain is the place to chill. Did you know Tommy Turtle isn't the only turtle? Tammy Turtle is my favorite! Step outside the box and try some of their unique sundaes! You'll be sure to find a new favorite! Life is short, Grab some ice cream and head home for dinner. I won't tell!

We meet here with friends often. Kitchen is slower than some places but it is always worth the wait ! Unique dishes, excellent flavor , fresh ingredients. Give this place a try.

Every time we go here they are very low on stock. Counter girls are not overly friendly. Thankfully the donuts are very tasty and always fresh. They charge extra for credit card transactions that are less than $5.

The best breads, buns and pastries around. They will take special orders in advance. The variety of fresh breads...yummmmmmmm! Pigs, pastries, cookies, oh my where do you stop??!??! Coffee is fresh and a great place to stop on your way to work. Yes, at 7am they have a respectable breakfast crowd on weekdays. No they don't bake cakes---there are shops for that. They are growing and will have a 2nd location soon.

Captain Sundae’s is a fixture, especially the location on the way to the state park. Good selection, generous toppings, lots of shaded seating. Very fast service, they have lots of help. A little high priced, but always a treat. Their walnuts are seasoned in butter with a tad of salt, irresistible with hot fudge.

The Mainstreet Beanery has become a favorite coffee shop to visit and I don't even like coffee!! I prefer Chai Tea, a steamer or a smoothie which are offered to non-coffee drinkers. The women who work at the Beanery are extremely friendly and genuinely interested in their customers. Everyone who visits is made to feel very welcomed. The coffee shop is simply, yet attractively decorated. It has a beautiful tin ceiling.
Mainstreet Beanery sells Uncommon Grounds coffee, teas, a variety of lattes, cappuccinos, expressos, steamers and smoothies. There are many flavors of syrup from which to choose. There are also bagels, cookies, muffins and scones. One choice of soup is served per day.
Mainstreet Beanery is located in downtown Zeeland and opens into Don's Flowers.

Ordered an xl for pickup. Loved the little meatballs that were on it. Pizza was hot and just as ordered. Cheesy breadsticks and sauce were good too. Plenty of food for a family of four...and the price was right too.

This restaurant opened July, 2010 in the downtown area. Everything is homemade with local ingredients; desserts made with Michigan fruit. Wonderful!
Tripadviser led us to this restaurant for lunch after visiting the Holland Windmill. My daughter and I split the Cristo sandwich, thinking we could order pie for dessert. The sandwich was one of the best meals we had on our Michigan road trip. We loved...MoreWow! So glad you had a wonderful experience. Please come back, next time have your cherry pie first and then sandwich. So happy to hear the nice comments. Thanks and have a great summer!

We have been to Holland many times, and this time was the first we have heard of this restaurant. It is about 7 minutes from downtown Holland, It was a great place to eat. Food was delicious. I had prime rib which was the special and it was delicious and very well priced. My husband had steak which was very good. They have plenty of seating in different rooms and also outdoor seating. I would definitely return next time i am in Holland.

We came last night with family members to celebrate a special birthday, and we absolutely LOVED the food: two of us had the Salmon Caprese and it was absolutely amazing and is highly recommended. The flavors were fresh: tasty pesto, salmon served atop a tomato Cous Cous! Wow! Dinners came with house salad. One of us substituted for the Leroy Salad (a favorite!) Other dinners were the yummy pork tenderloin and delicious Cod Piccata. Portions were large and we didn't have room for dessert! Our server was excellent and before reading on, please know that the food was FABULOUS.
The restaurant is small with hardwood floors, brick walls, and high ceilings, however, and a party of 18 or 19 women was seated as soon as we placed our orders. Their noise was deafening, and sadly we could not hold a conversation with our family members. This was pretty disappointing, given that we were celebrating a very special birthday. If there had been any way to avoid this, we would have appreciated knowing about it and would have selected another restaurant for our special dinner.
