After not very good experience in other, visually similar restaurant nearby, we tried another one, rounded by stone walls and plaesant court hidden from the sun. Our waiter was there in a minute, ready to take our orders, speaking english with us. 5* for the meals, personally I recommend the cold tomato soup and the lasagne casa veccia. Only reason why I don't rate with full 5* is the looong time we waited for the bill...but apparently it's the thing we need to get used to in Biograd. Really, go there for the dinner!

I am coming to Boskinac for a few years now and simply love the place, ambiance is amazing and calming, which is a nice change from a hectic Novalja nearby.
This year I came with three friends wanting to have some wine Boskinac is famous for.
The waitress which served us was obviously inexperienced and at moments even seemed confused with what is expected of her. We ordered a bottle of red wine, one glass of white wine and a glass of ,,rakija,,. She was bringing us our order in strange order, she would bring us the bottle of red wine (in ice bucket?!) then in a few minutes glasses, then after two minutes the white wine and so on. Did not offer us to try the wine before drinking, did not even pour us the wine in glasses. My friend wanted a dessert, she was not able to say details of some desserts, was going to check in the kitchen but never gave us the feedback. In the end the experience was good,as we really love the place and the wine was amazing as always, but a place with such reputation and aiming to be top restaurant in Croatia simply can not afford to have this kind of service.

Familiy restaurant - cocktail bar
Restaurant just at side of beach. Looks pretty at night with the lighting. Tables are outside.
Had smoked salmon, fish soup, local fish all of it very nice.
It was a little pricey for Croatia at around £45 per person including a bottle of wine and a few beers but good value in comparison to U.K.
Waiter service was good

My hubby and I wanted to have a nice dinner in Skradin and TA did not disappoint. We were lucky to get a table for 2 without a reservation, I can see it is important to have one as it is a busy place, for good reason. There is indoor and outdoor Seating as well as a roof top which I did not realize, so was happy we sat up there.
We ordered a bottle of red wine and settled in. Even though very busy the waiter was attentive.
We shared an amazing carpacchio fish appetizer and my hubby had the mussels, while I had the house specialty, a beef dish with tasty gravy and gnocchi. Very tasty and homestyle food. We thought we were finished as not often that we do dessert, when the waiter brought lil mini fried donuts and 2 house brandy/grappas for our nightcap. A truly fantastic meal in Skradin!

Made feel very welcome. Family run the Hotel. Mr Rustika is from Slovenia and dresses in his native clothes. Mrs Rustika has great English and is very knowledgable on all things food and wine.
The decor is old and very traditional. Fire burning in the corner to give a smokey taste to cooking.
It is clear that the owners are very passionate about their food.
The fresh sardines for starters were fantastic. Best ever tasted.
The shelled prawns done Croatian style were fab. The steak also really good.
Finished with a bottle of local red wine. Delish.

It's a small lovely restaurant situated in Zadar's old town area. Fabulous value for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
We had dinner here this week. The first positive thing we noticed was the staff's kindness. The young me (presumably the owner) was very kind and helpful. Regarding the food, it's great. Fish is well cooked and it tastes good. They could do better with the wine, but it's a matter of palate. All in all, totally recommended.

We found this place on Tripadvisor and so glad we made effort to find it.
Tucked away in a narrow side street, this family run restaurant has wonderful Croatian food with a modern twist.
Friendly and helpful staff and gorgeous view while you are dining.
Highly recommended - hidden gem.

Dear guests, it has been 30 years since the restaurant PET BUNARA has been firstly established. In all those years it has been groving, changing, modifining... And last few years has become a trend setter and actualy a leading restaurant in Zadar county. Cuisine could be described as; traditional, simple, local jet appreciating new trends emphasizing seasonal offer and, as much as possible, extensive usage of organic, ecological or bio products or groceries. As a result of all mentioned, restaurant PET BUNARA proudly acquired a SLOW FOOD nomination for 2012. In addition, restaurant was the best restaurant in Zadar County according to Ministry of Tourism for 2010.
We heard nice things about this restaurant, and when we arrived i saw why. Everything is nice decorated and clean. Menu is great on the first look but when we ordered food, we was disapointed. We expected much more delicious food. Staff is very good, very proffesional and polite.

Restaurant Kastel was recommended to me by a colleague who had previously visited. I emailed the restaurant prior to my holiday to make a reservation and got a reply that same day.
The restaurant is inside Hotel Bastion and away from the main streets of Old Town Zadar (opposite the Garden Lounge).
The restaurant is lovely inside with indoor Seating only, although top level has huge no folding windows which were open giving the feeling that you were Sat outdoors.
All wait/hotel staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. My mother and I had 2 small plates and 2 main meals as the menu all sounded delicious.
We ate tagliatelle with shrimp (best dish), lamb stew with polenta and for main beef cheek and potato gratin and beef fillet steak.
All meals are served as described, no extra veg etc and none available to order. The portion sizes are small but rich so you don't need anymore.
We had several glasses of red wine
We didn't have room for dessert
The 4 dishes and wine cost £80 in total
In my opinion this was the best meal we had during our entire trip to Croatia, little on the expensive side but worth every penny
