There are two negative points: 1)the location is so far from the center. 2) it gets too crowded that you may need to make a reservation.
However, the food is wonderful, the staff are always wondering around. You only see the families. The price is moderate. It costs roughly 8-10 euros per person.

The staff weren't very friendly, the food was okey, nothing special, but good enough to satisfy the hunger, the interior traditional and quite interesting, but somehow lacked the overall cozy atmosphere. What makes up for everything, is that you can go to the roof top which has a very nice view over the rooftops of Yazd.

Yazd is the dessert capital of Iran and is know all over Iran for its wonderful Ghotab, Baghlava, Pashmak...etc. Nearly every traveler leaving the city has their suitcase filled to the brim with sweets. Now, this restaurant, sitting in this city, offers what for dessert?? Fruit salad!!!!!!!!! REALLY!!!! This would be funny if it wasn't so sad! After I asked the restaurant manager about this, his answer was that the above sweets are "expensive"! This restaurant by the way sits in the middle of Yazd's most expensive hotel. Surely tourists staying at this hotel can afford to pay a few dollars more to enjoy Yazd's delightful confectionary masterpieces.
Other annoying things about this restaurant:
1) Surly attitude of the staff. A note to the management...you and your staff have a job because of your guests.
2) Iranians do NOT drink tea in cups!! Buy small glass ones.
3) Don't clean the tables by dumping the leftover food and plates on a trolly which is parked in the middle of the restaurant. That is disgusting and puts people off.

Amazing view to the old city center of Yazd, even more charming at night with the Jame Mosque illuminated and during the sunset with the colorful sky.
The menu proposed is mainly traditional Iranian and in particular from Yazd, as the Shuli soup, that even if was not our favorite, is a so characteristic flavor between sweet and salty that you need to taste and also the Ghyme, typical lamb’s stew.
In addition, there are also some dishes imported from Indian cuisine, due to the Indian chef and that the owner grew up in that country. It is open either for lunch and for dinner, and there are available vegetarian courses as well.
We tried different plates on the menu and both we agreed that as taste and flavors our favorite was the one called Dizii. Typical from Iran and done in a stone pot where the meat is cooked and after smashed in. And you eat it directly from there, accompanied with bread dunk in the broth.
Another plate that surprised us was the one made with meat of camel, first time that we were trying this kind of meat and we really loved it. So tasty!

They have multiple Seating arrangements, but the traditional ones were covered with plastic screens for privacy, so you may not get a full view of the city while sitting in them. Others may prefer it though. The food was good, the Sandwich was huge and I wasn't even able to finish it. The cheese cake and chocolate cake were not that special (the cheese cake had a saffron taste to it, and the chocolate cake was dry).

Delicious food and good portions at reasonable prices but limited variety. Try their local soups or daily dishes. Very friendly staff. Nice garden but nothing spectacular. It also has a small gallery of local arts and crafts. Free wifi (ask for the password).
