Today the walls of the Ming dynasty and the Tang palace walls hint at the Xi’an’s glorious past. Stare in awe at the Terracotta Army, 7,000 terracotta statues of Qin Bingmayong Bowuguan warriors and soldiers. Dating from 210 BCE, they were discovered in 1974 and are still being excavated. Don't miss the Shaanxi History Museum or a chance to heat up at former imperial bathing spot, Huaqing Hot Springs.

This is a dance and music show in which a dumpling dinner is also included.
We enjoy the show tremendously. The backdrop and dancing was awesome and the costume was very colourful and alot of the dances come from the Tang dynasty. A well record male chinese and follow by an english female voice read the narrative of the Performances on the side of the led screen on the side of the wall however there was a lot of spelling mistakes on the english text which was laugable. We dine on the first floor restaurant and did not have dumpling food with the show as our tour guide told us the foods was not good.

We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant during our stay at the hotel.
The dinner consisted of a huge buffet with plenty to choose from (both international and Asian dishes).
The quality of the food was amazing and the service was excellent.
The atmosphere at the restaurant was wonderful and very quiet (in comparison to regular restaurants in China).
Highly recommended!

We went on a Saturday evening, and it wasn't busy at all (probably because it was located upstairs in a small commercial building), so we were well taken care. We were particularly happy with the two friendly Waitstaff.
As for food...
- pizza with homemade sausage: pizza base was nice, but the amount of sausage was scarce, and it was way too soggy with sauce
- fillet mignon tagliata: I ordered for well done steak for my mother, but it arrived in medium wellness. But overall, it was a very good dish.
- nicely dressed mixed salad
- very satisfying chocolate lava cake, and espresso
- the Campari orange was probably the most disappointing part of the meal. It was bland with too little alcohol, and what tasted like watered down orange juice.

Based on the TA reviews we decided to try this restaurant & were not disappointed! It was a little difficult to find on the 4th floor(I think). We were seated immediately. Our waitress didn't speak much English but they do have pictures on their tablets which was helpful. We got more help from a second waiter who spoke more English & he took us under his wing offering sauces, extra munchies and even cooking most of our food for us as we were going by the fondue model of cooking one thing at a time. We appeared to be the only westerners in this large restaurant---a bit of a novelty to the staff, I think. We ordered the noodles as our last course & had a very unique & entertaining show. He even came back a second time to entertain us with his expertise once more! All this great service with smiles and a friendly refusal to accept any tips. If you have the opportunity to try Hot Pot, just do it for a very entertaining & delicious meal.

We had a great dinner in the Yi Cafe, the signature restaurant of the Shangri-La Hotel in xi'an. There was a choice between the a la carte menu or buffet. We chose the international buffet, which had very high quality seafood or Asian fusion dishes cooked to your specification and delivered to your table. Excellent dessert selection. Full bar.

Immerse yourself in the culture and flavors of modern and contemporary Janpanese cuisine, incliding sushi, sashini and live teppanyaki stations. Special KOREAN menu for you to taste the delicacies.
This is a Japanese and Korean restaurant. The food was delicate, fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. They have an all you eat menu but it isn't a buffet. Instead you order from an extensive menu. The quality was astounding. Worthy of a visit. However be warned the banana tempura is savory not sweet. Stick to the ice cream. The chocolate orange is divine.
