Simply the BEST frozen custard in southeast Michigan. This little place has been here as long as I can remember. I used to go here as a kid with my parents. They have most all the ice cream treats, but the frozen custard is what they are known for. Only open seasonally. No the healthiest treat on the planet, but the best tasting treat on the planet.

Fine dining, gourmet cuisine, Wednesday night Family Style Menu, Sunday AM Buffet
The personnel here are wonderful. All were pleasant and friendly. The food had very little taste to it. Even though we ran a little late for our reservation (buffet style) all the food was cold and lacking flavor. I think the best thing I had was the Oreo cake. Would not recommend this place and only gave three stars due to the staff being so attentive.

I've heard about it, read about it. For some reason, this was my first time visiting.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with many Hungarian antiques displayed throughout the facility. It was a Wednesday evening and very well attended. There is a large dining area in the middle of the room, with tables throughout. There are booths surrounding the area, which lend a bit of privacy and comfort. My husband and I usually split dinners. We had decided to try two different dishes, and bring home the leftovers. We ordered Chicken Paprikash and Stuffed Cabbage. We were brought a basket of bread and then our salads. The blue cheese dressing was absolutely delicious...I took half of my salad home and finished it today! Both dishes were very well prepared and delicious! Our waitress was great...she had many tables and handled them all with smiles and made suggestions regarding our orders. The owner stopped by our table a couple of times and made us feel very welcome. We shared a bottle of Hungarian wine "Bull's Blood" It was dry and light. We had to forgo dessert as we were literally stuffed. I know that this will become our new go-to when we are in the mood for authentic Hungarian food!

Owned by the same owner (Paul) for about 50 years. Bumpy ice cream, waffle cones, sundaes, cute atmosphere, and outside seating! Prices spot on !!

Very enormous portions of food and very reasonably priced !! Cozy, place, not too loud, and the staff doesn't rush you. I had a shrimp noodle dish that I couldn't finish but did the next day for lunch, AND dinner. The tastes are wonderful !!! Definitely would go back when I'm in town again.

My wife my son and I went here on a whim. I don't understand the negative reviews about the Decour I think it's very warm and welcoming . While the food is a little pricey, it is delicious and the wait staff was outstanding! I think they should include a side of fries with the delicious burger that I ate but it is what it is you see the price you see that it doesn't come with fries and if you choose to order it then that's on you. Other than the cost I would highly recommend this place the food is delicious the staff is outstanding!

Went for dinner. Pretzel bites for appetizer (usually very yummy, a bit too well done today), wedge salad (it was really, really good), Whiskey burger (a bar burger), Mediterranean Pasta with chicken (delicious), 2 draft beers and 2 Zombie Killers - dinner bill was $71.55. Not inexpensive, we do enjoy going there. Atmosphere is nice and they have outside seating. We visit this restaurant a couple times of year. This pub has Zombie Killer on draft, so great place! After dinner, take a walk along the riverfront.
They have the 2nd floor available for private parties.

My wife and I came here tonight to celebrate the burnin' o' the mortgage. It's our favorite summertime special occasion place, a little pricey, but the setting directly on the Detroit River is something no other restaurant Downriver can match. We asked to be seated outside. Okay, so plastic tables and plastic chairs and you're still gonna pay $100 for dinner with tip with a decent bottle of wine, fine, because -- Look at this view! The boats going by! Downtown Detroit on the horizon 15 miles to the north! So beautiful! My wife had the baked Italian sausage pasta, I had the "hanging tenderloin." And two of the Portofino Premium Salads, an explosion of fresh fruit, greens and vinaigrette. And a really nice medium-sweet French rose. It was all SO good. (Jeez, glad I didn't order the crab cakes, based on the review below.) Only fly in the ointment was our waitress. She came back three times before we got the wine order straight, and it took her forever every time, and in that time, before we had even gotten our salads, the next table over got their salads AND their entrees. It was darn near half an hour before we even got salad or bread. She never asked if we wanted more bread, either. And it took 45 minutes to get the entrees, which, thank goodness, were excellent. The table on the OTHER side of us got came in half an hour after we did, and got their entrees about two minutes after we did. Another table nearby ordered gazpacho (ooh! gazpacho! gonna order that next time) and a salad, and had them inside of three minutes, not 25. And then a random server came to us at the end and presented us with a bill -- THE WRONG BILL, THE BILL FOR ONE TABLE OVER. (I recognized it because it had two Coronas on it, and I saw the lady over there drinking Coronas.) We almost paid it and walked out, because it was about $30 less than our bill was. So we flagged down another staffer to take that bill back, and then WAITED ANOTHER 15 MINUTES FOR HER TO BRING US THE RIGHT BILL. My wife finally walked out, and I caught the waitress at the bar, and we straightened it out. I have no idea how long we might have waited for the right bill otherwise. So maybe our waitress was just having a bad day, or maybe she's incompetent. The other staffers seemed much quicker on the uptake. At any rate, the food was terrific, and the view was amazing, but we decided a 13% tip was in order. Hey, she's gotta make a living too, but I hope that was just enough to get her attention. (And we speak as people who have both worked in restaurants! My wife spent a decade as a waitress!)

Food was just so-so. It felt rushed like they wanted you to eat and leave. The big disappointment, who the heck charges for a second bowl of chips? They nickel and dime every item. Cheese, lettuce, chips, sour cream. Never to be back...

While attending the Wyandotte air fair, we noticed Nanna's Kitchen on the corner and looked over the menu which included breakfast food served any time, lunch, and dinner plus one page devoted to Mediterranean dishes. The place remains open 7 days and although it is rather simplistic in design being long and narrow and seats, 60 customer, it prides itself with wonderful, friendly customer service and home cooked meals at reasonable prices. For a restaurant to being in existence for 30 years, you know that they are doing something right. Dining is also available on their patio. The menu includes appetizers, 11 garden salads, pitas and wraps, pasta, sandwiches, burgers and dinners: fish, pasta, stirfry, meat; Specials are listed on a separate menu ranging from $8-$11 for salads, sandwiches, and fruit plate.
We ordered the Mediterranean Lawash, a wrap consisting of chunks of grilled chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, fresh spinach, red onion, and balsamic vinaigrette on the side for $ 7.49, Very plentiful and extremely reasonable.
Even though the restaurant was busy, the servers continued to be solicitous and welcoming. The food was so much better than we expected for a diner of this type. We left with a good taste in our mouth.
