The Ground Round is a family friendly restaurant with a full dining room as well as, a full bar with large screen sports televisions. We offer a wide variety of foods from salads, soups, burgers, flatbread pizzas, burritos, fajitas, and steaks. We also have several dessert choices. As our slogan says: "We've Got What You Like!"
Considering the choices in a community this size, we were thrilled to find this place so close to the interstate. Two sides provide choice for where you eat: lounge or restaurant. Both are small in size so go earlier in the evening to be seated quickly. There was quite a wait when we left after 6 on a Friday.
Although we had to ask for our waitress after waiting awhile, the service was spot on and friendly. We appreciated how our young son received his food first without requesting this. The burgers here never disappoint and wish I had ordered soup because it’s always good. An appetizer platter isn’t that tasty. Onion rings aren’t something to waste your order on. Would suggest something else if you like apps. Many entree choices can make it hard to select between pasta, fish, or steak and chicken. So many great and tasty choices! Dessert? Go for it!

Too bad we didn't check trip advisor before stopping. We were in the store for 10 minutes and were never once acknowledged by the staff working behind the counter. Do not stop here...no matter how much you want ice cream.

We were so happy to see a Caribou in Worthington. Gas station coffee just doesn't quite measure up when you are traveling so when we saw this Caribou we were elated. The service was quick and efficient, the coffee drinks were made to perfection and they even let me use the Caribou app, what more could I ask for! It is a little off the beaten path if you are traveling on I-90, but well worth the extra miles to get a great cup of coffee!

I have been stopping at this travel center for years strictly for their made-to-order sandwiches in their deli. Best sliced pickles I've ever had (I always ask for extras). Prices great, fresh ingredients. The employee is often fresh slicing veggies on the spot. Great bread selection. Wide variety of unique icecream flavors available in same area as sandwiches if a sweet treat is needed. Highly recommend!

My daughters (9 and 14) and I ate a late lunch at this Perkins, and they had great food and excellent service. My girls ate macaroni and cheese from the kids menu: one with fresh fruit, and the other one with fries. Even though they are both very picky about their mac & cheese (nothing but Kraft!), they both loved it. I had eggs benedict with hash browns and fruit. I also ordered coffee. Everything was delicious, including the pumpkin pie we had for dessert. The service was fast and friendly.

Let me say that this isn't your usual Chinese take-out or buffet type food. It was different but very good. Seemed like fresh made food including the egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken wasn't the usual gummy ball of breading. Good size piece of chicken with like a tempura coating. Cashew chicken was fresh and crisp. Good light sauce. Think my husband had the mongolian chicken which was also fresh and spicy- beware and don't eat the hot peppers! Took a bit of time as the place was full but the waiter was great- checking on us. Large portion left me with a big to-go container.

The cooks here do a great job. I went with a group of folks and the service was very good, waitress seemed like she had worked there awhile and the food was excellent. I had chicken parm, was pretty darn good.

This is not health food and not the best quality food I have ever had but for a buffet it was okay. The fried chicken was way over seasoned(extremely salty) and would have been good except for that. There is a nice salad bar but that must not be a choice of many of the patrons as some of the veggies looked slimy. The pizza was very average although it is nice that they will make a pizza of your choosing when you pay for your lunch, I would never go just for their pizza as it was pretty nondescript and had a very tomatoey sauce! The kids like the dessert pizza and the ice cream machine.

Outstanding Mexican food, wonderful service, in an historic building (old Thompson Hotel). Charming decor - chairs, tables, and booths all unique and handcrafted in Mexico. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. Super clean bathrooms - usually a sign of a clean kitchen. Be sure to checkout the Mexican store next door!

My wife & I stopped here for lunch on the way east. We both had chicken breast $5 fill ups. My wife had green beans with hers and I had Slaw. Food was good, service was good. No complaints.
