This restaurant has a huge menu, and I do suggest you be careful when adventuring with new flavors and meals. Spicy foods are very spicy, even when they reduce the spice, and some fish dishes have a lot of bones within them. Everything tastes wonderful, and when I go with the family I often end up also eating the spicy food that a friend did not think would be so spicy... :-) My recommendations: the sauteed pork is wonderful, as is the green mango salad, and the different variation of Pad Thai are worth having on repeat visits.

Just a very memorable meal! Service was top notch and unbeatable and the restaurant setting is incredible! Food was also great (though not perfect) and very much enjoyable. They served me two extra complimentary courses. Try the rabbit, it was delicious! ANd def go for the guava desert. The meal just ended on such a high note with a variety of deserts. A huge thank you to the team! For pictures and full reviews, check out my instagram where I have shared my deeper thoughts about each dish: @life_on_a_pause (Ahmad Abdullah)

Zagat 2013 and Michelin Guide Recommended. Our cuisine is a combination of traditional classics and state-of-the-art fare. All of the dishes are prepared with an emphasis on using only the freshest ingredients, keeping the integrity of traditional dishes while incorporating a new style, with the focus on taste.

Jackson Hole Burgers are family owned restaurants that opened their saloon doors in 1972. Born and raised in New York City our family run establishment have (arguably) been serving up the best burgers in the entire country. You can expect the best and finest ingredients...from our special blend of house-aged beef burgers to our mouth watering chicken "bronco" sandwiches. We buy fresh, make our dishes to order and that all reflects in the flavor of every meal, expect nothing less. All of our restaurants operate with an open kitchen, so come dine with us and watch your meal being prepared right in front of your eyes. You know you do things right when you serve some of Americas elite. President Clinton, Denzel Washington, Jennifer Aniston and Derek Jeter are just some of our celebrity costumers over the years. Join us for a memorable dining experience. We look forward to serving you.
It's been ages but we were rolling by and my husband just pulled in the parking lot.
I forgot how good their food is. The burgers are always the best but I got nachos this time and
they were really exceptional. Service is great. The place is clean and everything
goes smoothly....relaxing diner vibe! It won't be so long between visits next time!!!

Impromptu visit to Pete’s as a recommendation by our hotel and it was a good one. Service was exceptional and food quick to be delivered.
Fajitas Combo was fantastic with a very large sampling of beef pork and prawns with a great selection of vegetables included. Served sizzling on a cast hot plate.
Fried Chicken was also excellent but the vegetables as a side were brilliant

I stumbled on LIC Market one day and it quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. It is relatively small but has a pretty outdoor courtyard in the back and comfortable seating. The menu is consistently interesting and always features many locally grown/caught choices. I'm a particular fan of the risotto, grouper (or whatever market fish they're offering), and carrots with carmelized onions. The wine and beer list is not extensive but it has a decent range of choices and is fairly priced. They also sell Transmitter beer, which is a local craft beer that is excellent.

Uncle Peter's is a neighborhood restaurant located in Jackson Heights, Queens offering an eclectic menu with influences from Italy, Spain & France. Our philosophy is to serve quality food using fresh ingredients in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
I've been here twice now, once for new years and once with my parents for a special dinner. Both times the food was outstanding and the service was quick and friendly. Definitely not the cheapest restaurant in JH but the food is worth it, especially if you're in the mood for fine dining but don't feel like heading into Manhattan (or paying Manhattan prices).
I got the black linguini with seafood the first time there and the braised beef with risotto the second time. Both were so good and the portions were large enough for me to take home a second meal. This place is a high end gem on the very diverse Northern Blvd.

This place constantly has long waiting lines. They constantly get high ratings from reviewers. My guess is that there is 1. A bandwagon effect going on or 2. People with experiences like mine over the years don't even want to give them the time to write their bad experiences...because, peole sure talk about the gross unpleasantries of this go-to place.
Lets start....the staff is rude, on autopilot, inattentive. This review will focus on my last visit. After waiting for seats (like rveryine) they took down our shade umbrella in order to expand the space on the sidewalk and cram in more people. This left us, three fairskinned people, not only in the beating sun, but with the late sun bearing into our eyes.
I had *very important* guests that day. They had seen reviews. I live in the neighborhood and suffer the lines and sidewalk crowding (in fact open drinking of waiting guests) as well as the constant evening party noises.
SO when I brought my guests and was treated so poorly, (in not even going to start with one meal coming 190,mins after the otheres, them being out of another selection...although we weren't told that) well....all I have to say is, you must have to be socially related to the owners to be treated right. I was so very very *embarrassed.*
There are others choices in this Greek neighborhood for good food: Greek, fish. Other Dont pay these people to make you feel priveledged to be ALLOWED a seat in their establishment and then ignored, underserved, and uncomfortably shuffled.
Ask around. Lots of locals will tell you the same thing....the ones who aren't "family" at least.
And, no, they don't take reservations...for YOU.

Fabulous place. Attention to details, even the design of the menu is amazing. I had the baby lamb chops with veggies. They gave me extra veggies since I don't eat potatoes. Chops were perfectly medium rare with equally wonderful mixed vegetables. The server was a delight too!

We just came back from 2 week trip to Guanajuato Mexico and we were seriously craving real Mexican food. Casa Enrique did not disappoint! We had the best experience! Totally hip, crisp white decor. The restaurant is spotlessly clean.
The staff were very professionally trained and the service was on point.
We ordered tamarind margaritas which were delicious. Food was outstanding and authentic. Rajas con crema, which is one of my fave dishes, tasted better than what we had in Mexico. We also ordered the guacamole, crab tostadas, chicken mole and roasted pork ribs. Do not miss dessert! Tres Leches CAKE !!!
Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.
Be sure to make a reservation because this place is packed on the weekends.
