Lovely meal for Mother’s Day. The service was very friendly. Nice menu but only had one choice as a vegetarian which was a little disappointing.
Portions were good size and all food was hot and well presented
Would recommend as a good place to celebrate an event

Open Monday Bank Holidays and Open for Christmas Day & Boxing Day New Year & New Year Eve
I was invited to eat with friends celebrating Mothers Day at Liam's this evening.
Had a wonderful relaxed evening, eating the most delicious array of dishes over a 3 hour period. We ordered a selection of appetisers and had a break before ordering our main courses. I must admit I enjoyed the appetisers so much I could have just eaten them all night. I particularly loved the tea smoked chicken.
Our table was booked at 5.30 pm and the restaurant was beginning to fill up at that time and remained busy for the next three hours.
The highlight for the main course was the crispy shredded beef in a birds next.
It had been years since I had been to eat at Lians and the food is still exceptional.
If I lived nearer I would definitely be a regular visitor.

Outstanding busy village pub, that serves up generous plates of tasty pub favourites. Pies, fish and chips steaks etc. Always a great atmosphere, and can get very busy at times so always worth calling ahead to book.
Good selection of ales and has Sky sport in the public bar.

Visited here on a Monday night after a long Car journey.
Restaurant and Pub were reasonably quiet but not dead. Waitress was very friendly and attentive but not intrusive
Food was very good and reasonably priced at 2 mains and 3 drinks coming in at £24

We have been coming here since it opened and it never disappoints. Having been to Thailand we can say that this is authentic in taste and atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
The food speaks for its self, simply wonderful and fragrant, delicious See you soon I hope!

Welcome to The Green Man, situated in the idyllic village of Little Braxted and located conveniently to the A12. Stunningly refurbished, the interior is a clever blend of old and new with oak beam & log fires to keep you warm in the winter. In the kitchen the emphasis is truly on everything local. Cooking at the The Green Man is the essence of a modern country public house and great fresh food is always available. On the daily specials menu, for example, you might find Rib Eye Steak, Pan Fried Sea Bream or Smoked Chicken Caesar Salad, and the dessert portions are not for the faint hearted. Outside in our beautiful garden we have picnic tables so you can enjoy Al fresco dining during the warmer months. Little Braxted is set in beautiful countryside with fantastic picturesque walks, this establishment makes a great stopping place for keen walkers & cyclists.
I bought my daughter a voucher through Groupon for herself and her boyfriend to have a meal. They had a fantastic evening and said the food was lovely and the two gentlemen were accommodating, friendly and polite, keep up the good work, thank you for making their evening so special

We visited here the other day. One of our group is vegan and another is gluten free. We had little hope of finding a cafe in Witham that would accommodate all of our dietary needs. However, the attitude of the staff was excellent. They knew their stuff about vegan and gluten free diets and so it was no problem to have a meal that we all enjoyed.
This cafe is an excellent example of how to run a business. It’s not posh or a big business. 99% of similar cafes, or even larger restaurant chains, wouldn’t bother but it just goes to show what can be achieved with the right customer focus. I’ll certainly return and I’ll make sure I tell all my friends about it.
Good business and good food.

The Tea Rooms was established in May 2009 by Lisa-Jane Spence at Olivers Nurseries, Witham. The traditional family owned tea shop soon blossomed as it began to offer full English breakfasts, homemade soups, quiches and daily specials in addition to its array of cakes, scones and sweet treats. The Tea Rooms left its home at the Nurseries in December 2014 and reopened finally in brand new premises at 46 Newland Street, Witham, next to Boots. The Tea Rooms has full disabled access and toilet facilities, free wifi, and a small outside Seating area. The menu is child friendly and the toilets have a baby changing area. The Tea Rooms is licensed to sell alcohol and customers are advised to book for a midweek roast to avoid disappointment. Our roasts are now served on Wednesdays.
Fantastic afternoon tea. This was our second here. Quality fresh ingredients and friendly staff, the Manager/business owner is always welcoming. A very well run establishment. We will certainly be returning , streets ahead of the competition and refreshing to see independent business rather than the BIG chain norm you normally get.

Another sloppily served, long wait for a watered down over priced coffee.
Staff were being served first, laughing and joking I waited fifteen minutes in line and there was no one in front of me.
Terrible service, terrible coffee. Especially when you pay the price the charges they do. Off the Nero for something I can actually drink
